  1. What a race that Superstock 1000 was. Well done McGuinness.
  2. Doesn't matter. I never went anywhere.
  3. Anyone heading out and about today want to meet up somewhere ? Was thinking of heading down towards Daz country way.

  5. Brilliant.
  6. Fantastic read mate, thanks very much for sharing.
  7. This is actually from a couple of weeks ago at Knockhill. And no, it's not mine. http://img197.imageshack.us/img197/1313/imgp0723n.jpg
  8. Shoorly, but no. Just a shy moron (I'm not really a moron)

  10. We went to the trouble of putting on a whole military tattoo and none of you lot came up. I am sure someone will organise something sometime. Not me though, I am too shy.
  11. Do you mean Forth Bridge ? Be aware there are severe roadworks due to start soon on there. I know you can filter etc, but just thought I would warn you. Oh and remember the Rest And Be Thankful is closed due to a landslide as well.
  12. Chicane, is that road from Newton Stewart the one that goes through the forest ? If it isn't that one, then I think I know which other one it may be. Both excellent roads though.

  14. A lot of the shops still have sales on due to ye olde credit le crunch. J&S have deals on with 20% off, and Hein Gerricke (or 4theride) are also dishing out vouchers this month. Last year at HG I bought the jacket and got the jeans free.

    Thanks Andy.

    Tank Protection

That's the stuff mate. Was it easy to fit, or was it already on yours ?

    Tank Protection

That just looks like a tank pad mate. There is some stuff you can get that goes down the sides of the tank as well as up like a tank pad does. Thanks anyway.

    Tank Protection

Hmm thanks, but I don't think that will add to the look of my bike that one. Is there not some clear protection that sticks on ? Appreciate that though, so thanks guys.

    Tank Protection

Ideally looking for info on tank protection. I don't just want a tank pad, but the protection that goes from you up the tank, and also round the sides. Don't want my paint work going dull. Any advice, hints or tips appreciated.
  20. Shame for Casey. Maybe he just feels after that last race there that indeed his Championship was gone, so just use the rest of the season to get fit and test more things on the bike once he comes back. The whizzard of oz will return.
  21. Nice wee run outs this weekend. Saturday On my own. Up the M8, over the Forth Bridge, tourist road to Kirkcaldy, then along through Windygates, Leven, Largo along to Elie to visit the parents. Oh and back again. Sunday With my mate. Up to Stirling, through Doune and down to Killin. Along to Aberfeldy, Kirkmichael, to Forfar, into Arbroath. Along to Dundee, down the M9 (stopping when we couldn't see for the rain - changing visors and hiding under a tree), through Dunblane, Stirling and back to home. Ouch, me arse is numb. Great couple of rides though. Have done more than the mileage that was on the new bike, within a week and a half Both days, loads of bikes out, and all good.
  22. Glad you are having such a hellish time mate. Now you know what we have to put up with up here. You must have plenty of money as well to be in Lodge on the Loch as well as booking it well in advance. I had a voucher for there years ago and never used it. It does look a bit scruffy though
  23. Headed off out last night despite the weather. Out towards Stirling, then through Alva and a few other villages. Right through to Cupar. Stopped off at the Suzuki place for a wee break, before heading back the way. Weather managed to hold, with only some damp roads until the way back, where it became torrential rain. But what a bloody bike that is, absolutely awesome. By far the most comfortable I have felt blazing round corners, even on damp roads, and at high speeds. Couple of pics of the two bikes from at the Suzuki garage. (of course they would be a bit blurry wouldn't they. Taken with phone) http://i164.photobucket.com/albums/u31/Ratser/Bike/IMG00066-20090803-2041.jpg http://i164.photobucket.com/albums/u31/Ratser/Bike/IMG00065-20090803-2041.jpg
  24. Gonna look at getting a dark screen as well.
