Toby and Jules are journalists who have been around the sport along time, Toby commentating a lot longer but he does other sports too, I believe he's a keen cyclist and they both ride motorbikes. Spaulding has all the technical knowledge, but it boils down to what you want in a commentator, I like there infectious fanboyism and how they don't just commentate on what I can see there's a lot of pure discussion about stuff around the sport that's why they sometimes miss stuff.

Yeh I took textiles on 2 trips last year excellent in Scotland in April horrendously hot in Wales in Aug, so I'm trying the rain suit leather combo for a change, its just the room mine takes up that's the problem.

Stu got one from aldi it kept him dry in biblical rain and spray on a 6 hour ride in Germany I was soaked in my textiles. Pot luck really. I have a spada one I need to try more but wish I'd bought a thinner one.

You should have no problem finding decent stuff with a grand budget. Personal preference I buy stuff I've tried on. Also remember when trying on trousers and jackets to allow for them to move when in the riding position, they may feel fine when just stood in a shop.

There not all easy to fit on the fz1 you have to pretty much remove the tail section and cut some holes in it to fit the rails but they are excellent and even fully loaded I can't tell the difference in handling.

Don't think he would have done any better on a factory bike.
