  1. Not only that but now it might only take a couple of cheap riders to come to the front and the comp could be over, looking at wsbk this year it could have actually made for a decent competition.
  2. What a crock of shit, nice dumbed down version. Lucky dip Spaniards lol Doesn't really matter Duane these classes change so much past performance isn't as big an indicator
  3. I remember back in the day having a similar conversation with my mother over getting an air rifle, she said no so I went and got one...too late then. Your old enough just tell her your doing it, she has to deal with the fact your growing up so that's her problem not yours, your life lead it how you want or regret it later....that goes for married life too.
  4. I don't remember any flooding! Hoping for a repeat of last year but with more motivation to get out.
  5. I heard a bloke down the pub say you should always ise 70:30... I know the same bloke down the pub that claims never to use his rear brake. Never seen him on his bike though. That's kind of me, yes all this 50/50 70/30 is bull with differing discs calipers etc you'll never know, but I don't use my back brake, I know others that don't other than as s handbrake, I only actually use it on the move to clean up the disc so it won't fail the mot. Yes I know you shouldn't tell noobs that they shouldn't use it but as you gain experience you will learn what works for you. I thought before remove my rear brake I could go on a rideout remove the front I am not going anywhere.
  6. You've all been told the lad has apologised so let's leave it at that or this thread will be locked. Let's also try to respect how other people choose to ride, if people like to get a lick on as I can assure you a good number of members do on this forum that's there choice same as its other members choice to ride like the may as well have stuck on a 125, we all hopefully ride to have fun what we deem fun is our personnel choice, and just to add I like to have a bit of both when on my own because going balls to the wall constantly is tiring and its nice to have a look about.
  7. Very true. I'd say the main problem, however, is there's not really any way to stop it from happening. Horse nappies? Shovel sized poopascoops? Keep them off the roads
  8. ermmmm , okayyyy. personally I would prefer to stay the right side of that line, and rather than that making me not 'good' , I view being uninjured, still alive , and returning home at the end of each journey having thouroughly enjoyed it , grinning from ear to ear, as a very good thing If you never push yourself then you will never know. Ive always strived to be better, bigger, faster at anything ive ever done. Yes ive been hurt, yes i might die, but i could die tomorow crossing the road. I'd say its how we as humans actually learn, its all about the size of the increments or steps towards improving you have to be disciplined with, you know font try to run before you can walk But agree biggest hazard and only thing you can control is yourself.
  9. Also road tax is already cheap for bikes, misguided petition defiantly not signed.
  10. I wouldn't have thought so had my car license 16 years before my bike license so I can't see how it would have. I would have thought it was probably the other way around already used to traffic, roads and speed.
  11. Yes it bugs the shit out of me as my wife has a blue badge, she visits Leeds train station and the taxis sit in them so she rang the taxi service and warned them she would contact the council about it. Also at Starbucks at junction 27 we see loads including a Ferrari park in the 2 available, once we went up I was driving and a bmw X5 was parked in one so I got in the other, the spaces are nose to tail,I started walking off, he got out saying he couldn't get out, basically the conversation went back and forth while the wife went for coffee about how he shouldn't park there and he might think twice next time after his wait.
  12. We have a cdti astra, wife's notability car, and I have a new fiesta done through salary sacrifice scheme. There just cars so got best for money that was offered.
  13. Mine does this now but it's worn out and needs replacing, so does visor tbh
  14. quite probably the sense of humour failure these days is epic...different story if it causes an accident but pedestrians should be fair game they can see the puddles too!
  15. Hope he was wearing decent waterproof kit!
  16. The Friday night is a stonking good night out...enjoy
  17. I've done it but I just put the container in my top box and wedged it in so it couldn't move about too much then hoped for the best, actually hoped it would have been destroyed but it faired really well!
  18. No one said they couldn't its just in what capacity should they be able to.
  19. http://news.yahoo.com/marines-delay-fem ... itics.html I know its the time of equality and in most cases rightly so, but when peoples lives are on the line there really is a need for common sense, if there's a minimum requirement that's the line the goal even GI Jane didn't want those moving Peoples thoughts?
  20. Finally went for heated grips, never bothered with muffs I just know I would hate them.
  21. If ghosts really did exist surely there would be way more sightings, and wouldn't there be insect ghosts and animal ghosts?
