Fiberglas repairs?
painkiller replied to painkiller's topic in Old Motorbikes, Projects and Restorations
hmm, not too sure if I can manage it. I hope you dont mind sharing your experience but in daylight will take a shot of the damage and ask for advice if can / worth doing. -
Looking into finding panels for my right side zx6r, guy in the breakers suggested to fiberglas repair kit instead. Anyone actually done this or have experience?

ignition pick up makes sense, I will have to take it out for a long spin tomorrow and see what happens. Pack my meter and see if the ohms fall. Thanks that does make sense. Goes to show you take it to garages and to a kwaka workshop that find nothing.

I may have to flush the whole fuel system see if it stops dying on me, I did pay to have everything serviced and flushed but I guess tank is not part of the service.

I have taken it into multiple garages but issue persists. The bike dies in motion sometimes, its fine but then slows itself down and you cant rev it just continues to fall until stalls out. After this happens will not start for some time, random time. Battery is all good fully charged or slightly drained due to use, alternator is working fine, side stand kill switch all good, fuel pump changed, fuel filter new, new throttle cable. To start with I thought it was because a previous owner put the wrong tip plugs in but still died. The only advice not tried yet is to remove the alarm. Any idea's?

Sorry to post here but im looking for experience over reading. My girl a couple months back got a rash the quack says its eczema (?) but its all over her body. Tried allergen food restrictions dairy, wheat, gluten etc but it fails to change, it drops back then flares up again. So itchy all the time and cant get her to sleep anymore, we rub in all the creams given time after time but nothing changes. Any experience help, you will have a very grateful painkiller. I have not slept in so long, or in my own bed for that matter king size bed and no daddy space left.

At the moment I am using what ever trousers I am in, they do provide some protection most are modded protection. Textile jackets and a leather one around here somewhere, don't you find most jackets have pathetic protection? Mine has a softer foam than a washing up sponge in the back and silly polystyrene joints. I used to go out in just long sleeve tops well normal clothes.

There are new trousers on the market I cant remember what they are called but watched some guy use an electric sander on them while wearing them, they seemed pretty good. I am looking to upgrade my kit, feel its time for a change.

How many people on here actually wear full biker leather suits? I am just wondering how hot they make you?

Dont ask me why it did or how, it just did through the kitchen and then through to the shed.
