lol yeah it would be cheaper in the long run but I cant afford to spend £300 ish on a trailer right now, where as I can afford to pay £25 each day I do a track day to rent it

I take it on a trailer but nah I dont have tyre warmers. Got some spare wheels with wets on that came with the bike but never used them yet

Yeah I definitely need to get more consistent. The bike is at Louth Bikes now (took me an hour to find the place!) so will see what its like for the track day next weekend once its got the Brembo master cylinder, new PF brake pads, stomp grip, and higher bars hopefully a lot better!

EDIT: Well I would put some more videos up but youtube is not working I'll have to upload em tomorrow night..

only thing is i really would like to wait till the day before to book just to make sure its not raining as i wouldn't fancy it in the wet..

Unfortunately I think you will struggle to do that now as we get closer to summer - some of the track days that are 3 or 4 weeks away only have a couple of spaces left at the moment

nah I dont think I'm anywhere near ready for fast group yet, soo many people overtake me still in inters. That 1:56 and 1:57 were just my best, all my other laps were around 2 minutes.

PMSL...trying to hard to catch me up chris, still got best part of 10 seconds to go and trust me if its dry i will be quicker next time im there.

awww what, I thought you were doing low 50s, I just watched another bit of footage from yesterday and found a lap of me doing 1:56 disappointed that I didnt improve on that on the second day (today) though, but I got to do a bit more overtaking and scrapping on track today so that made up for it

im from rotherham and yes its fair to say i am now a track addict.. i am definately up for going again any time if i could i would buy a house right next to the mountain best corner EVER... would be nice going with a group to cuz i dont know anyone that does track days on bikes especially so was on me tod yesterday which was abit rubbish..

I'm at Cadwell again next Sunday (4th) and then the wednesday after that (14th) so if you fancy going to either of them then let me know and we can meet up there

haha dont worry guys im fine (and so is the bike). Just editing the footage now, wont be up until tomorrow though as it will take ages to upload. In the mean time, here's some rather embarrassing c*ck ups I made on the first day, no idea what was going through my mind in either of these clips! Thankfully my riding got better as the weekend went on... got a new fastest lap of 1:57 catching you up Phil!

Cost me £45 to get my suspension done at Cadwell, but its not just like a one off thing - they work with you for the entire day to get it all set up how it works best for you. Having said that, I didnt end up taking mine back after the first time they adjusted it because it felt fine after that

Just found out I can get the 14th off work (the one this thread was originally about) so will be booking this track day tonight

I dunno if I would be able to get the day off work as I've already got quite a few days booked in April - are there any you are doing at Oulton on a weekend?

haha yeah you've been to cadwell less than me but done about 10 more track days than me in total! What sort of lap times were you doing round cadwell the other week? I'll let you know once I beat them

haha I dont know about that... we will see how my lap times compare to yours after the 4 track days at cadwell I've got lined up over the next 3 weeks - god I didnt realise it was that many haha

I'm sure this isnt going to help with my "only does Cadwell" image but I'm just looking at booking another track day at Cadwell on Wednesday 14th April - only £85, being organised by Louth Bikes (you can book it directly with them or via http://www.trackdays.co.uk/tracks/cadwell_park.htm ). Guest riders and a free bacon sandwich too apparently

2 more days hope the weather gets a bit better, forecast rain for both days at the moment... but then it said rain all day today and it stopped raining about 4 hours ago so hopefully the forecast is wrong as usual
