hi guys help with some brands

RST doesn't mean good. I bought a pair not a few months ago and they're already falling apart, hole in one of the finger stitches. =/ -
Base layer recommendation
Petarded replied to Fulhamatt's topic in Clothing, Luggage, Accessories and Security
I have some skiing base layers by Patagonia. They're really good at wicking away the moisture top and bottoms. http://www.chevintrek.co.uk/patagonia-m ... -542-p.asp -
motorcycle Draggin jeans 38 waist
Petarded replied to do1977's topic in Clothing, Luggage, Accessories and Security
I have dragginjeans and can honestly say they're a bit crap on the fit and style side of things, I'm sure the protection is great (haven't fallen off in them yet!), but a couple of my friends have Halvarssons jeans and the fit of them is more like straight cut jeans. Whereas the DJs are baggy as fook. The style of the Halvarssons is also more cool looking compared with most of the DJ designs. I have the classic draggin jeans which look way too blue. Comparison: http://www.grandprixlegends.com/Images/Products/XLarge_Images/HAL022_1.jpghttp://www.demon-tweeks.co.uk/images/product/product/dra_classic-indigo.jpg *Note the Draggin Jeans are a lot bluer in real life! *Edit: Also the Halvarssons ones are cheaper coming in at £75 to £90, whereas the Draggin's come in from £90 to £110. -
This sounds very similar to what happened to my gpx 250, it turned out the cams weren't balanced or something? Maybe this is something you could check? I dunno, just a suggestion.

Junction box?

I would recommend actually finding a shop that stocks any boots you want to buy online and try them on first. You don't want to get them and realise they're a bit loose or whatever.

Acessories ER-500
Petarded replied to Rollingskies's topic in Clothing, Luggage, Accessories and Security
your feet should be fine for now, I wear normal socks at the moment and it's fine. When winter comes around any hiking sock will do generally. Or get some warmer boots. Fly screens look gash in my opinion...so do top boxes... Try oxford heated grips. -
I also have an Army issue Bergen, 130L in olive green. I only ever use it when I can't fit the load in my other two rucksacks another military 35L day sack or a quicksilver backpack.

Mental block on queueing and filtering
Petarded replied to a topic in CBT, Test and Advanced Training Information
Yeah I expect filtering gets a bit tiresome if you commute in and around central London every day. -
Winter = brigdale walking socks or army issue green things Summer = Whatever

The fairing around where the indicator is attached is curved (I think) so flush ones wouldn't be so flush.

Tbh mate just get a new OE one from ebay or something. I replaced my original stem indicators on my gpx 250 and oncoming vehicles can't even see them from the front. I had no choice though as I couldn't mount a new OE one because the fairing around where the indicator stem would go is broken off (from 1st crash). If you have the indicators mounted on the front you run the risk not being seen from the side (the most important bit). And I think your bike will look even more ratty if you put the indicators where you're considering. New set of indicator stems. Or all the other GPZ 500 indicator related products.

Shit sorry mate I totally forgot about that! Thanks so much for sending them! They work well you've just got to get the positioning in the helmet right. Again, sorry sorry sorry! Thanks!

Mental block on queueing and filtering

My bike is so flickable, such a beaut to filter with. Can get through the smallest of gaps. -
Make sure it's a vinyl sticker too!

Yeah you could adjust the choke cable. If that doesn't fix it I had a similar issue (weak RPMs) with my 250 ninja and it turns out the cams were out of balance or something.

Anybody tried bamboo?
Petarded replied to wiggleit's topic in Clothing, Luggage, Accessories and Security
I have this in black. It's really comfy, wicks moisture away from the body and most importantly warm. I also have some helly/hansen baselayer tops, they're good but they have the tendency to ride up (because they're so stretchy) if not held down by your belt/trousers. -
I did use a pair of Sennheiser CX300s which have great sound quality for the price but the problem with them is they deteriorate so quickly (I've gone through 4 pairs of them). Not to mention that getting a proper fit with the helmet and ear-buds is a fiddly business. Plus I only ever really use my iPod when I ride so I'd rather have an integrated solution with the least amount of hassle. I may try the ones I linked to if no-one else has any suggestions, we'll see. I think the law regarding use of headphones is that they cannot be 'in ear'? Over ear headphones are fine I think, the training schools and even the DSA use them for the tests?
