Pidcock posted yesterday to say they have 3 in stock ready to go.

We were all new at one time, enjoy the process of learning I'm sure you'll kick yourself for not doing it earlier!
If you're sensible then I'd just skip the 125 and go straight to the big bike.

All the slots were taken by local training schools when I did mine, they had loads of slots that they book as soon as they become available. Just go through the place you did your lessons at.

I went on my first trip on the bike with @Gerontious back in 2018, I’d been riding for less than a year. I had an incredible time and have returned several times since.
It’s a great introduction to riding on the continent with a decent group of lads. The hotel is spot on and super cheap too.
I’ve done a couple of trip reports but likewise I’m happy to answer any questions.

Only 3 coming??????????
What is going on with folk - We used to have great turn-outs.
It can't be the cost - ITS FREE!
Not difficult to get to (A1/A14 Junction).
Maybe it is limited to people who actually ride bikes / like bikes / like folks who like bikes / like having a good time / like meeting others / etc.
Maybe it is time I gave up trying.
I will be in Germany with @Gerontious and possibly @bonio and @smallfrowne who I wouldn't have met if it wasn't for this forum. So although I can't support this event I am sort of on another forum related event.

Don't know if responses are still needed but I've filled it in.

We love a cruise, unpack once but get a different place to visit each day. The ships have a lot of people in but are huge, it’s just like being in a big hotel/entertainment complex. They are not like the England to Spain ferry.
We are off in 2 weeks to Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia and Vietnam, can’t wait.

2017, cost me about £125 for the CBT then £650 for the DAS. I did document it here but my thread got deleted as it was in the introductions section.

Whatever is available at the time of your arrival - Currently we have:
Oatmeal
Polar bear
Choc Chip
Shortbread
Bourbon Creams
Sounds good, I'm partial to all of the above.

Anyone who turns up at my house on their bike will get:
A cup of tea/coffee
A biscuit
A picture of 'Hog' stuff (for the points)
A view of my full-size (yet to complete at the time of writing) Dalek
What sort of biscuit are we talking?

Lots of pub/cafe tags. I need to do some research on what I have locally

Just now, Hoggs said:
you don't need to geotag just (eg)
East Anglia - warehouse antiques
And I'm allowing it because I want people to have fun doing it and not get annoyed about insanity rules.... but ideally it should be an actual place
Thats great thank you. I appreciate the work putting it all together, it looks like a beast of a task!

Just a couple of questions as I'm new and want to make sure I'm doing it right.
- When posting a photo do I need to geo tag where I'm taking the photo with a google map link?
- The bonus round, I get it's all things Hog related but does this count? I've interpreted the rules as being a place rather than a thing?

I guess it depends on your bike whether the current systems works out well for your or not.
My MV provides the world with 148.5 g CO2 per km. If it was a car, the tax would be £255 a year. As bike, it's £111.
Thats fantastic, my tiger 1200 is only119g CO2.

I was told to wait on double yellows for my examiner as I had made progress and got through a junction that he didn't. He was following in a car and I filtered. The length of road that I'd got to had quite a stretch of double yellows so if I didn't wait he'd probably be out of radio range. I lost him again about a mile later though.

I rode back from the test centre with L plates on, if its not allowed then they wouldn't have permitted it.
-
Don't worry about it you'll get it next time.
I failed my 1st one for straight lining a roundabout, something that I was later taught to do when I was doing advanced training

I didn't pass 1st time. I had a retest a couple of weeks later that the examiner didn't turn up for and then I had another date a couple of weeks after that.

Had an Innov system on my GS which I never had an issue with but I sold it when I sold the bike.
Think I'll get one of these to put on my tiger which includes cameras and CarPlay https://abikething.com/product/chigee-aio-5-lite-motorcycle-smart-riding-system-bundle/
