If you’re capable of being sensible and not trying to go as fast as possible I’d say go straight for das.

I have been given a voucher to use as I couldn’t push my booking back any further. It’s to the value of my booking last year and I have 12 months to use it.

There is a lot of disscussion about the NC500 but I might be tempted to avoid that if we're all confined to this island and do it when people are heading abroad.
Love a bit of rainy wales, I may even go this weekend if I can.

I have just had a credit for last years tunnel crossing, I'd been pushing it back ever since august and got to the limit of how far it could be pushed. I've still not booked this years crossing but will a couple of weeks before hand if we know we are going.
If we don't go abroad this year I'm still having the week off and if the weather is with me I'll go to scotland.

Banned from Germay. Ive never been banned from anything in my life, its interesting experience.
Still, a lot can happen in the next 15 weeks. so I'm not completely disheartened.
But.. i will start thinking rather more seriously about a "Plan B'
Still on the continent or are you thinking wales/Scotland?

Get as much education as you can via enhanced/bike safe/IAM/ROSPA/biker down.

I've been offered test drives of cars recently so I should imagine bikes would be no problem.

Sadly I wont be able to make this trip , My condition isn't really improving at the rate I'd like it to. On top of that I wouldn't want to be a risk to you guys or anyone else.
My hearts broken, but I need to do the right thing and try to fix myself.
@Gerontious I can inform Daniela?

I'm sure we'll both make one of these trips at the same time one day. Looking after yourself is always the prioroty

My camping gear will be in regular use in the uk so I’m more then happy to use it on the continent. I’ve had my first dose of the oaz vaccine already and my second is in mid June so I’ll have as much protection as I can by September.
I’m restricted with work that if I need to be quarantined either in a hotel or even at home then it’s a no go for me. If that’s the case I’ll do a week trip on the bike in the uk.

Could have hit a spot of oil causing the back to slip slightly

I’ve corrected the typo

There’s no particularly great roads near the factory but if you have any technical issues with your bike and you need a hand I live very close.

I've requested the time off work. I can't wait to be heading to the tunnel.

A proper tool cabinet like this is a worthy investment. Be prepared to completely forget what tools are in which drawers though and have to open at least 3 before finding the one you want.

I haven't booked anything but I still have my eurotunnel crossings from last year that I've pushed back once already and I'm hoping to be able to push back again. After 2 years of booking rooms at the travel lodge and not being able to turn up for either I'm tempted to hold off until I know its absolutely on!

I would be taking it to an independant

Is that the 1050 or the new one?

Triumph servicing is very expensive, I paid £650 for the 12k mile service on my street triple.

I will be going somewhere. When and where is to be found out but I will be going away on my bike at some point.

I bought these for my GS. I really just wanted to install an innov camera system but I didn’t want to cut the wires on the bike so went for the can smart to control it. Once I’d bought that I thought I might as well get the lights and horn too.
I’m impressed with it all and is very well built. Not cheap by any stretch of the imagination but I’m happy with it. It looks good whilst I do my best to keep the chicken strips on the tyres as wide as possible.
I bought everything from https://www.abikething.com/ and fitted it myself. The guy also offers a fitting service if you don’t want to do it yourself. He’s done a fair few videos on how to do the installation too.

I'm not sure to be honest,my sister bought it for me, she is a guide leader and had a lot of scout friends so she asked them for guidance and this one was what most of them recommended.

Easily sorted with one of these, but to be honest I haven't had an issue, cue it falling over on my 1st use this year.

Sadly I think you are right. Also going to a country is one thing but things can change whilst we are away and all of a sudden it's on the amber list and we've got to quaranteen on the way back. I've got another week planned in the uk the week after we get back with family so I can't risk that.
