  1. So ive just been woke up about an hour ago by my two German Shepards going ape, look out the back to see my back gate open, go inspected it and it seems they have climed in, tried to cut through the gates lock and failed so kicked the gate in then legged it. Glad my bike is locked to the wall seems the dogs barking and the chains were too much of a risk. Really worried about them trying again now though
  2. christ that passenger was like a rag doll he was riding a bit like a wally though imo very fast cutting through traffic with a passenger too
  3. haha im very new myself so watching others on l plates pull crap like that makes me cringe lol obviously all make mistakes when learning but when its from just ragging your bike about and not been cautious i dont get it lol
  4. always makes me shake my head when i see crap like that, i had a guy last week on l plates filter past me (and rev his engine as he passed me thinking he looked cool no doubt) he was doing 50 easy i was doing 30 (40 limit road btw) as the lights ahead had been green for ever and i was expecting them to change. sure enough they did and i watched as he wasnt able to stop flew out narrowly missing turning traffic >.
  5. there is a nice ninja in my local dealer, and its green Hoggs lol
  6. lol that worries me XD if you saw me hugging my petrol tank willing the little thing to hit 70 and the manical laughter that followed as the needle tipped it... must look hilarious to people cruising past me at 75 in cars lol *disclaimer i dont ride like an idiot.... most of the time*
  7. yeah im 33 so age not a prob as for 125's i thought there was a slightly higher powerband to them my bad . So its gonna be a big fork out to get a bit more power. Can deal with that will just need to start saving , as i say not going to go for it for a good while yet im very green atm lol Thanks for the info Stu
  8. Hiya guys Loving my little 125 however im feeling the lack of power on the duel carriageways what would be the best option for me to advance, Das seems the obvious choice but im honestly not after something powerful just something that hits 70/80mph i would be happy (right?) could doing the smaller license let me have a bike capable of that? from what im able to gather i could do a smaller license on my own bike but would let me ride 125's with a bit more ommph? The only thing putting me off the Das is expense as i read your looking at £400 quid ish each try? thats a lot of money to f**k up lol if i go for the smaller license on my own bike its a lot cheaper i read? Its not something i will be doing for a good while yet i need a lot more experience on the road but Would be nice to know my options and start making plans Cheers guys!
  9. I have for today Going into work on the back roads, nice and quiet drop to 25 to take a corner as its not till your coming out of it you can see far ahead thanks to tree's, anywho as I come out of the corner there is a woman parked across the left hand lane doing a three point turn >.< literally at the corners exit not just past it or a bit up the road, but right were the road starts to straighten the best of it? she shakes her head at me! lol... one good thing came of it.... I know i can emergency stop in an oh shit moment lol XD
  10. Id say you were ripped off buddy I had to sign a form on my cbt basically saying i wouldn't sue them if i hurt myself but also insured if i screwed the bike up i wouldn't be charged. on my CBT a guy smashed the front fairing and headlamp lol but they just give him a bit of stick and laughed it off. Seems really poor on them to have you doing the more advanced stuff before you were happy on the throttle, During mine after talking me through the bike they had me sit in neutral and get a feel for the throttle and explained the clutch, then just had me move slightly forward then stop Dont let it put you off, sounds like you were over thinking things and getting stressed. Go to another school, relax and enjoy it will come with practice buddy I can assure you of that, day after my cbt i was contemplating quitting cause i didnt feel safe, 2 weeks on ive done trips down a duel carrigeway at 70 on a 40 min journy no sweat Keep us posted! and lots of experienced riders here who can advise you better than i can. Mike.

    Oil change

I was using a ratchet spanner but yeah it seems its far too tight for that and i figured the nut would chew uo before the wrench so didnt push it. 6 piece socket set best way to approach the little bugger then?

    Oil change

Hiya Guys Just cleaned and lubed up the chain and deiced to check the oil level while im at it. its not below the low level but not far above it and i drained a little from the crankcase to find its slightly brown however i cant for the life of me get the oil drain cap off its stuck tight! Any suggestions?? i dont want to round the bolt off but i think thats gonna happen if i put any more pressure on. cheers.
  15. very pretty bike loving the colour with the red wheels
  16. I use the one at the petrol station, its free and does it in no time at all . we sell some rac compressors at work for £7 but powerd by fag lighter, bah! otherwise woulda got one of those.
  17. 2nd day on my bike lol Came off a duel carrigeway onto the slip road which was quite a steep bank as i was about to come to a stop at the junction back wheel hit a large painted arrow and spun out taking me down lol bit of a gashed knee, sore shoulder and cracked my fronthead lamp casing but i lived got back on the bike and went to work lol (the nailed that hill the next day!)
  18. I have a sr125 and mine is the same if its cold, usually 30 secinds or so just ticking in neutral does the trick , not having the rev problem though.
  19. It's comfy to ride and keeps up with traffic so I'm happy , even hit 70 yesterday which shocked me as it is only supposed to cap at 65 I read lol go lil bike!
  20. haha i quite like the red actually though not my usual colour the one on my cbt was a kinda murky green made the bike look like it belonged on heartbeat
