A real shame. I have had the angry walkers before. Some people just don't get it that it's still a road. They automatically assume no tarmac, your riding illegally.

Even if you have to buy new seals, it will still be better than selling for parts. You will get much more for a working motorcycle.

Be careful what you watch on YouTube. I would not use just "any old grease" as some will eat your seals. I would not advise using a clamp either. Would be so easy to get the piston stuck. Sounds like you are not pushing the piston in straight.

What carb is it? Normally on smaller bikes the jet sizes go up in smaller increments that 5. Could you not get a 107-108 jet? It's better to be a little rich, than run lean. Have you unrestricted the exhaust?

Don't you just love some of the scams you get. I just had one from PayPal saying "Wе nοtісеd ѕοmе unuѕuаl асtіνіtу οn уοur РауРаI ассοunt οn 31/08/2017 аt 09:52 ΒЅТ nеаr Ѕсоtlаnd UΚ аnd wе'rе сοnсеrnеd аbοut іt." Funny thing is, that it was sent at 07:23am. Over two hours before I had made the payment!

With the current system you don't have a two year restriction. That was the old A2 licence. Now once you have done your DAS, you can ride anything, as long as your over 24 years old -

It's only £18-20 for a battery one ebay. Looks like a YTX5L-B battery for the CG, but check first. They have a Motobatt for £20. Like mawsley said these are good batteries. You can search by model and year if your not sure

Don't J&S have an online store checker. I am sure I have used it before to make sure the jacket I wanted was in stock. And they had my size.
