So yeah....bolt was tight, then suddenly let go...brake fluid everywhere, I now have no paint in a line down the front of my bike...brakes are no better though

Have done a rebuild on the master cylinder....in fact, it's in the back of my mind that I've done something wrong that's not allowing the air out of the top - is this possible? Pretty much at my wits end, going to strip the whole system and start again (maybe filling from the bottom this time) unless anyone has a better idea!

I changed to braided lines and have had basically no front brake for about a month now. Have NO idea why, as I have bled it and tied it up overnight umpteen times. Will start from scratch soon and hope for the best. Oh, and GSXF brake calipers are lovely, as they have 2 bleed nipples per caliper so you can be chasing air forever it seems.

Plus they're running out of stunters....last 2 friday nights I've been there some t*t has come off...best one was a guy doing a burnout smashing straight into the back up a souped up boy-racer-mobile. Good times.

When/what do you mean? Is there a rideout? Are you just going down for breakfast/dinner?

Fire some WD40 in there and hope for the best...

Oil seal? I guess put it where a worn-looking version on the same thing is, if you come across it!

However it seems to me to be a massive mystery how you actually use the kit!

Route looks interesting "M40-M25-M23" Is there any reason to go, cause it sure doesn't sound like the ride is the reason?

I did that on my stock horn on the Zephyr as it wouldn't sound - held the button down whilst spraying WD-40 in there, it worked soon enough!

What bike did you have? I have an SV650N, I'm on sv650.org and someone on there says it fits and works perfectly with the existing relay. Perhaps you needed a new relay with yours? (apart from it not fitting on your bike, obviously!). if your bike is your avatar (gsxf) then there are loads of places to put the horn, just need longer wires and i'd add a relay to take power from the battery.. on my gsx750 naked its going under the tank, but the old ones will stay for looks.. if its your zeff, then under the tank.. Yeah it was on the GSXF....I've given up on it now anyway, I'd like to think the stock horn out in the open would be louder than something hidden under the tank anyway, but if not at least I haven't wasted three hours installing a horn!

Bought one, threw it away. Bike didn't seem to have enough voltage to make it work properly (it wouldn't even do anything it the engine was under 4000 revs) and the only place I could fit it (where the old horn was) meant the mudguard bashed into it every time I went over a bump. Hopefully yours will go better.

The 600RR is a f**king mental bike - not something I'd recommend as a first big bike unless you have some sort of problem with your right wrist that means you can't twist things far...

Ghostbikes are a good legit company....not too sure on claimed RRPs, but the service is good (I got some swift boots from there)

Just lean it slightly towards you and short-arm it as much as possible....will stop it wobbling at the ends of your arms and if it does lose balance, it will push onto your hip rather than fall away from you at arm's length.

I'm left handed and had absolutely no problem pushing a bike around from either side, what's causing the issue?

Good news...well I lubed my chain, it was also loose and the wheel out of allignment (it had slipped a whole notch back on the adjuster on one side), so good all round having checked it.
