I was playing around with the phone camera settings when I took this photo. I didn’t realise you could set shutter priority, for example.
And, yes, the garden is coming along nicely, though we lost a lot of tender plants in the colder weather. Surprisingly, the new gunerra came though relatively unscathed.
Yep it's been a tough one for a quite a few of our hardy plants -10 was too much for some. Now preparing drought resistant stuff for the summer 2 ends of the spectrum!

Well I don’t have much experience really. But I will throw in my thoughts anyway lol … so my Z650 came with Dunlop tyres. They didn’t inspire confidence and they noticeably squared off. I changed them at 3300 miles for Michelin Road 5. These inspire a lot more confidence. And my skills have probably improved a bit. And so I now have 10100 miles on the clock. So I have done 6800 miles on these Michelins. They still feel absolutely fine when riding. And actually I looked at them this morning wondering if they are squared off. Not noticeable. Certainly no ridge. I’m hoping they will still be ok for a few miles yet as they aren’t cheap … yes I do a lot of motorway miles frequently up to Scotland. But also a lot of miles on fast A roads etc
I think most manufacturers manage to fit cack tyres to new bikes it's standard I'm afraid. Least you have some tyres you have confidence in now

Good Evening! Well, it's official! After Friday I will be redundant!
I'll get 3 month's money in lieu of notice and the maximum (capped) redundancy of about £17k
But it's not enough to retire on. I'm going to have to find a new way to earn some money
Hopefully it gives you enough breathing space to find a new job mate. All the best in the job hunting Rennie

I tnd to do my own pads as said cheaper and not time consuming. Just take the time to clean the calipers up whilst ur changing the pads. I opted for the orange organic ebc pads and demon tweets worked out the cheapest I've bought stuff from them before v good I even called them to check I'd looked at the right set

So the weather is getting milder. We've turned the heating off. And then Shell Energy who we left but then got landed back with via Ofgen sent me an email.
They are dropping their electricity prices a by a whole 1.5p per unit.
BUT.....
They are raising their standing charge by 14p a day, which is a 29% increase.
Maybe I'm being overly cynical but is it a coincidence they drop the unit charge but whack up the standing charge just as we get into spring when usage will drop?
Wouldn't want the shareholders or ceo's to go without bonuses

Ask the dealer what the’re prepared to throw in if you go PCP.
Ask another dealer what they’re prepared to throw in if you pay cash that day.
Compare what both are prepared to offer you to get you to sign on the line and pick the one that offers the best interest rate to extras ratio.Yep got quite a few extras and reductions on some bits which made the pcp deal a better one. I'll be hanging onto mine after and paying off with a loan and cash

OK - Heads up!
I am in negotiation for a rally venue for late summer THIS YEAR.
Outside bar
Landlord is a keen enthusiast (however he recently sold both his bikes).
Marquee could be made available (it is a LARGE marquee
Outside mail/female/?x? toilets - No showers.
Pub does food - Can be persuaded to do breakfasts (the food is VERY good)
Real Ale
Downsides:
Unlikely to get permission for fires.
Next to a church with a chiming clock
Roads are flat(ish) but there are some interesting run routes
No 'B&B' accommodation on site but available nearby (+ travel Lodge + Holiday Inn).
Please indicate if you are interested.........
Yes I'm interested what area is it in?

A Duchinni. I've never had their stuff but trying a few on at our local J&S it was by far the most comfortable for me. I reckon it will get limited use in the UK but good to have for those few really hot days.
I think they make helmets to. It's all about comfort with summer wear

Sorry guys, summer is cancelled this year. I've just bought a new mesh jacket so that guarantees six months of cold wet weather.
Which one did you buy. I have an Oxford one and in all fairness it's v good

Yes they do my friend Jeff who recommended them is having a custom carbon fibre seat made from scratch for his cb900 all covered I think is around £300 or so quid
Got a quote from P&P seating on Monday for a new seat covering. They ran off a sample and for £250 it will be done by the end of the week. Gel inserts gold piping and cross stitching. Should match the bike and be more comfy.in longer trips. I'll post the results when it's back
