cant really sujest much to help you but i know i didnt use my back brake to help me round, to learn i jsut started going round in circles getting tighter and tighter till i was ok then started the u-turns. but what i was advised and found worked was to take the weight off my hands, strengthen your stomach and back muscles to support you and then you have better feel with your arms and the balance was better for me and so was turning the bars.

be careful, i have asked around about new discs and every dealer has told me not to touch the ones from a company in sheffield that make them. they warp to quickly. was told to stick to the original style for the bike.

i was told to use both, lube up with oil then seal it in with wax, clean off bout every 500 miles. so thats what i do. i also have a scot oiler

i have actually managed to break one of the side pods but £30 later i got new one put on and the opposit one spare for next time. thye are an arse but you can be quite rough with them.

i did the bottesford one for xmas and it was ace, will be doing this one and the bottesford one if i can.

it isnt impossible to get over at last min, even in 07 i didnt book till feb and they were waaaay more bussy than they will be this year. you wont find hotel but its more fun camping. head for sulby the first night cos its free and you can be there 12 nights no problem before they kick you off. once there you can look for a better spot. glenwylen in Kirk Michael is a lovely camp site and close to the action, ability to get out the place even when roads are shut , beach at the bottom of the site and good facilities. i am planning on going for the GP later on in the year if you want to join us.

i had a 6 month spell where i broke down quite a bit and on the dangerous A614. one night i broke down in a particularly dangerous spot and had to push he bike up a steep hill to safer area, half way up this hill i had to stop for a gap in the traffic cos there was a central reservation and the gap wasnt wide enough for me and passing hgv's. one of said hgv's even blasted his horn to make me get out his way the barstool. at least 4 bikers passed me and not one even nodded at me. buthaving said that one day waiting for roy to turn up for mfn i was waiting and 1 stopped to see if i was ok. 1........on an mfn night, so you can imgine how many passed me. but i think its cos you never know how the person is going to react to you stopping, so i understand. personally i put my thumb up to see if they ok and see what response i get

if you got pennies to spend then get decent pair of gloves and boots, they dont have to be "named" brands, i have Forma boots and they are ace, textiles are cheeper than leather so look for a pair of trousers and a jacket but make sure there is padding in there where you need it, hips n knees, elbows and shoulders and back. but the bit that is wanting me to ask is, if you To be honest I have no idea about motorbikes how come you going for your das?

it anoys me the way people moan bout stoners riding ability but i have believed since day one he will be as good as rossi. i am not a fan of "him" but his riding can not be knocked, he is the only one to take the challenge to rossi. great shot, i love watching bikes drift

the D ring for me to , and tbh materials used in the strap have moved on since your young days and they dont wear that quickly, most helmets are designed to be changed within 5 years anyway so you need be reassured that you wont have any problems. as has been said it gets tightened everytime you put your lid on where as i never used to alter my chick fix one and it would end up far to loose by the time i altered it.

right.....are you ready.......chain and sprockets are new. (me and make spend sunday changing them) that big rattle is gone and the bike is moving smoothly now so i know that was one of the main problems. but now............. i still have a rattle which is bugging me, it also seems to be loosing a cylinder when ia m at around 3k revs and when i am cruising at around 80 it seems to cough and splutter every now and again. now i have not changed my plugs but i am thinking there is a possible blockage in the tank or pipes so am going to try a line cleaner over the next few weeks to see if it smooths it out. what you thing guys n gals???
