I'll be looking soon, so this thread will come in handy Currently running BT016 on the rear, not sure about front as I haven't checked..................................................................................... all I know is its black, inflateable and made of rubber Clocked up about 4.5k on mine since I had the bike so an indication of expected mileage on suggestions would be useful Sorry for Hijacking thread but no point in reinventing the wheel
  4. Stick some tape on your nipples. Should be able to touch 160 easy. Genius!!! Waxing any hairy bits will get you few more mph
  5. Wheres the one for FAST? I guess thatll come under "other (please explain)" then...............no need On a serious note I won't go out intentionally in the rain as I have a car so why get wet when you don't need to? If I get caught in it, fair enough as I wear textiles anyway It did tip it down the day I picked my gixer up for the 130mile ride back from Cheltenham I used to ride in all weathers when I was younger and spent many moments after a ride in the snow to work, fingers burning with pain while they thawed out
  6. Can't make out if the front seats are still in or if you have already removed them so you can fit in it more comfortably

  10. I had my Sky box set to record both series of WSB and MotoGP But thats because I dont often get the chance to watch it while its happening To my horror someone (and that person is not owning up at the moment) has deleted the series record on MotoGP I have to say I do tend to lose track on the points and who is where in the championship though Really pleased with Leons performance on the Alstare Suzuki
  11. 18. DUH!!!! I shoulda know that Dan Thanks Blowing a little................not much though So a smear of paste it is Just wasnt sure whether to use any or not Never had to use it on the GSX, but that has a standard exhaust system and humungous gaskets If it was the car it would have gotten loads Thanks
  19. Lol Dan Its fooking noisy anyway so im not altogether sure if it ios blowing There does seem to be some soot like dust in the sleeve So probably best if I use some paste, but from experience I know this will make removal a lot harder.
  20. 130 mile trip Roy I just wondered if I should smear some paste in the joint to seal it. It's the extension pipe where it meets the downpipes Probably loose due to me dropping it
  21. Probably a stupid question but Im gonna ask anyhoo I have been cleaning my bike and noticed the can is loose So I checked it out and the bracket holding it in place needs tightening, no biggy there. I also noticed that the joint to the `downpipes is loose so I decided to check further can removed and there is not sign of any sealing paste. Is the paste required or should it be just a push fit with no need for sealing? Cheers
  22. That would suggest that the part of the thread in the housing is knackered Try placing a flat bladed screw driver underneath the washer and applying a small amount of pressure while turning with the spanner or posi screwdriver to help bring the bolt out. Once out you may be lookin g at recutting the thread in the housing and putting a slightly larger bolt in or having it helicoiled Might be easier to take it to a shop? Just my thoughts Others may have other ideas Best of luck
  23. I passed my Bike test when I was 17 and the car when I was 26 I am now 45 so you can do the math
  24. Thinners oils are designed for use at colder temperatures as oils tend to thicken up when the temperatures drop 10W40 in my gixer as recommended in the workshop manual I downloaded from tinternet Same in the GSX and same in the car You may fnd this useful http://hondacg125.awardspace.com/oil.htm Scroll down to the oil section
