  5. Nice ride I test rode one of these while deciding whether or not to get the gixer thou I loved the responsiveness, sounded real nice but I did not like the riding position Too heavy on my wrists (given that one is permanently broke) Enjoy
  6. Did you try and bend it back cold? I did this with my GSX and snapped it clean off They are cast aluminium and if you want to straighten them you need to gently heat them up to stop them cracking or snapping. Obviously if they are severly bent up then its probably not worth the effort A lever for my GSX was £15 new comapred to £60 for the GSXR
  7. What they call a "white paper" They dont hide it.................its just not openly advertised We get this a lot in the construction industry Its down to the individual to research what white papers are about, but generally they are aimed at specific individuals or organisations I think the idea is that these papers are aimed at those that are best placed to provide objective feedback. Something that rarely happens with jo public. http://www.parliament.the-stationery-office.co.uk/pa/cm/cmwib/wgp.htm From experience, having been involved in consultations processes at work, I have noticed an ever growing percentage of people who, while they agree with the proposals set before them, just want to stir things up, generally be a pain in the arse and cause problems. This is known as the antagonist culture.
  8. I ahve a Frank Thomas leather jacket and Heine Gerick textile jacket and trousers The trousers have a bib and brace which I use instead of zipping to the jacket Today I ar bin wearin the leather jacket and textile trousers Both minus the inner lining

Cobbz Dan If you aint got the tools or the noddle to fabreecate one (no offense intended) Take the good one to a local sheet metal working shop and ask them to make another Shouldn't be too expensive and relatively easy for them as they will likley have a scrap bin with something that will fit the bill. P.S. If ya can make one they might let you have a piece from the scrap bin
  21. I think Im gonna go for the Southend shakedown Thought it was the 13th April 2010 which is a Tuesday so I was thinking "what a strange day to arrange a rideout" On closer inspection of the thread I then realised this was last year and this years has just been added on If you want to still do the thing on Friday let me know and we'll fix a meeting point and time :
