  7. So Phil....I got to start thinking bout this soon.....BUT Is there really a problem with taking your own, road, bike? If you intend to use session as a training/fun experience rather than pushing to the limits ...surely theres no more risk of binning it than on a 'lively' rideout???? Money is most definately an object for me n I'd have to look at diff leathers for starters....n what about tyres???? I for one could do with a 'minimal requirements' list plus 'preferred extras, options! Hope your not busy....
  8. yeah, hopefully can ressurrect the myths/legends run early in the year.. or we could do hartside cafe again... Can't WAIT for spring.........
  9. Will do Tho may, potentially, have a prob with venue..........OH is a bit twitchy bout 'a bunch of strangers' (n lets face it few come any stranger) descending on his home. Must admit I do sympathise (only a bit tho). Will keep gentle pressure on....when weather improves, maybe arrange a meet up with a couple of you .Simon you up for this? (2nd thoughts ....could be kiss of death ) ....just to prove you're all human ...well mostly..... If said 'womanly wiles' crash n burn .....will look at sourcing a bike-minded campsite with attached licensed premises........n OH can get stuffed

  13. Been having a spot of bother with lower thumb joint pain on clutch hand. Decided to change SV stock levers for adjustable ones. Staying away from 'shorties' now, I think and opting for the ones that 'fold back' in the event of an impact. This decision is on purely practical grounds and has nowt whatsoever to do with vanity or wanting 'pretty', state-of-the-art levers........honest...... Short-list SO FAR includes PP, CRG & ASV. Anyone had any exprience of these? Suggestions, alternatives welcome too! Cheers
  14. Speccie or competing?

  19. F**k it I had a bad week at work too, but from a diff perspective. F**kin managers who stand around talking handbags, shoes n f**kin ageing 'boy'-band concerts whilst the REAL workers are over-stretched, run ragged n dont even get chance to nip off for a f**kin pee!!!! YES......... I'VE HAD A BAD WEEK
