At this rate gonna have to look into a couple of Portaloos (that is- look into hiring- not actually 'look into' ) Also some womanly-wile ideas for breaking the news to Himself would be useful......................could be tricky. I'm certainly thinking about it too, tho geographically speaking I don't think the same course would be pactical But I do want to do an advanced course and get some track experience. I started this late and feel I have to pack as much in as possible to get the most out of my riding. As well as being a safer rider. Plus LOVE learning new stuff So same here.....anybody fancy plans for next year re training? Any suggestions? If we got some decent sized groups together could perhaps negotiate some discounts?????

Best weather in recent years seems to be early, but May..ish prob soonest for comfy camping Will 'poll' for most popular dates closer to time then try n 2nd guess the weather Would be best for everyone to meet up here - Dalston, Cumbria. Most likely folk would arrange mini meets and come in convoy ....unless only one taker

CANCELLED Insired by a few of you planning rideouts for next year.............talk about wishing my life away!! Would be good to get some feedback on my little proposition.. My other half lives just south of Carlisle, LOADS of room for camping, huge party 'shed', bar etc If anyone fancies the trip up (down or sideways) for an overnight here n a bit of a party Would then be an excellent base for N Lakes / Borders. Or even across border n maybe up to Glencoe - superb, bike-friendly campsite with fantastic pub at top of Glencoe. What do you think??????? Would be more than happy to play 'host' - (not discussed this with 'him' yet but I have my ways of persuasion ) Could be an overnight or a full weekend and a good way for those of you, just that bit too far away, to sample True North. Anybody interested??? PS...Frankie, if this takes off .........could do with a wee bit o help PPS......Of course any mebers form north of border (do we have any????) also welcome

Just after I passed my test was out on a jolly and got 'nodded' at for the first time. Was so suprised (concentrating on riding bike ) I couldn't decide whether to 'nod' or 'tilt'...... Ended up lookin like the Punkha Walla off It Aint Half Hot Mum Good thing it was nobody I knew!

Oh bugger guys.... Simon I did text you this morning - no doubt you will have got it by now. Up here it has been truly foul all day, intermittant heavy rain, drizzle, gusty wind - you name it. Not much fun and for a relative beginner like me - not such a good idea either I was gutted and a right pain in the arse procrastinating this morning bout what to do.
