  1. I have Rizoma Spy R 80 bar end mirrors on mine. I find them much better, you can actually see what's behind you. No noticable vibrations, nice, quality piece of kit.
  2. I think it's the Kawasaki Z900RS isn't it?
  3. Yeah and what flavour was the pie and did you wait until it cooled down?
  4. Yeah I'll go with that lol
  5. Found it! It means they take Taxicard, which you apply for if you have mobility issues and you get the fare at reduced rate. Bloody poppy??
  6. Its definitely a round target type symbol, I've seen one close up. Keep an eye out for one on a cab and report back. First one to come back with the answer will be crowned teachers pet for the day.
  7. I've never seen a yellow and orange poppy!
  8. What does the target symbol represent on the front of black cabs (See Attached). Its probably something really simple.
  9. Its all very well saying 99% of 4 wheel drivers break the law every day and only 0.1% of cyclists. At least 98% of the 4 wheeled drivers are registered and insured so can be held accountable if they damage you or your car. All cyclist are totally untraceable and uninsured. If cyclists damage your car, they dont give a toss and you have no way of claiming back off of them for your loss, as mentioned above with the wing mirror. If all 4 wheel drivers and motorcyclists were to go through red lights or hit other vehicles they would soon have a fine to pay and points on their licence or the police on their doorstep for not stopping at an accident. Only a couple of weeks ago I saw a cyclist, come along a cycle lane, going too fast for his left hand turn, went wide and hit a brand new Audi parked on the side of the road and fell off his bike. He got up, saw the big long scratch and the dent of the passenger door. Picked up his bike and rode off into the sunset. If he had been registered then at least you would have something to report to the police.
  10. Exactly what I was thinking, i would of taken great satisfaction of kicking it over to get it off my bike or at least letting the tyres down before you ride away.
  11. Yes I was going to say that, your wanting a lot of specifics for very little budget. I think there is going to have compromise somewhere.
  12. Yeah dont touch the settings, just go out alone with the excuse the engine isn't big enough for 2 people lol
  13. If the ignition light is hit and miss, could that be related to it cutting out?
  14. Is that a true life scale?
  15. See we are always learning
  16. Spotted this tonight! Safe, legal, home made or optional extra?
  17. As has been said "prepare" the bike as much as possible before going into the corner. So no gear changes, harsh throttle changes or hard braking in the corner as these will all encourage the back wheel to break traction with the road especially in the wet.
  18. That is odd. Yes they may be fine to you Mr Dealer but are they the right bike for a potential buyer that going to spend £k's of hard earnt money
  19. I would say after only 3 mins of riding, the bike still wouldn't be up to running temperature even in this heat. So the dealer using the hot weather as an excuse, seems a fob off to me. I could be wrong.
  20. WTF! Was it even the same PSP. Stories like these makes me think we need to be more cautious as the general public is not the be trusted. It is ridiculous. We contacted Ebay and they said "well the buyer said it's not working" Our answer was we have proof it was working so they must of broken it" We said to Ebay we weren't comfortable with giving our address out and they gave it to the buyer anyway.
  21. Yep, on Ebay we sold a Playstation PSP which was immaculate, not a scratch on it and I took a video and pictures of it working with all the included games and also pictures of it very well packed for shipping. The buyer messaged saying it wasnt working, when we had proof it was, Ebay wasnt interested. So not only did we have to refund the buyer his money AND the return postage, we also got back a non working PSP. Ebay then put our PayPal account on restriction because of the issue?
  22. If the HSE said "we are going to screw closed all the windows of every train so idiots cant put their heads out" Then that same family would complain that it was uncomfortable hot on the trains.
  23. If you had of took it and then complained about the corrosion, dry chain etc. They would of probably said "well it was all in the photos, not a lot we can do about it"
  24. I'll get the Hob Nobs out Is that a euphemism Who me? Noooo
  25. Cheers mate, I will let him know.
