Hi all, My mate has a GSXR K2. He has said that he can ride it for about 30 mins and then then coolant is being blown out the overflow pipe. He then obviously has to top up the coolant again before he rides it. I'm no expert but I'm guessing along the lines of either thermostat or head gasket? What you guys think?

Oh yes! It's a mum thing If it's any consolation I'm over 60 and my mother still does this especially if I go up to Northumberland on the bike. Completely does my head in. Lol, Awwww, it shows she cares.

I wonder if that is from a lack of experience/confidence, there have been times, when i felt a bit unstable, but managed to correct, without putting a foot down I would say lack of confidence, either in themselves or the bike.

I saw one this morning!!! On a 125, as he went round the roundabout in front of me, he put his foot out and then back on the peg once he'd straightened up.

I think its probably because we are concentrating on pulling away, changing up, road conditions ahead etc. The right leg is the lowest on the list of priorities.

Yeah I can understand stretching out but I see people just putting their foot out as they go around a roundabout. They could have started riding trials bikes, when they were younger, and adopted the habit, of putting a foot down, while cornering Yeah that's a possibility
