I have fitted the brakes back and I am trying to bleed them. I get no air coming out of the bleed nipple but also no pressure against the leaver and the brakes do nothing. Help

I have a cheap Leopard modular with drop down sun screen thingy. I wear prescription glasses. It does an okay job, my preference with sunny weather is my prescription sun glasses. The visor will do a job. But not as good as sunnies. I have no problem with the wearing of glasses and using the visor.

I rode with a pair of DM work boots for ages and had no problem. I put on a dilapidated old pair of my instructors when I did my DAS and immediately ordered some second hand proper but cheap boots off fleabay. My current ones would be 89 new I think or maybe less, I got them for about twenty quid and they are infinitely better. I bought cheap everything to start and it did the job, things like wearing my mountaineering gear underneath meant I was good for all seasons. A little while ago I spent about the same on second hand reasonable gear as I had spent on cheap new and will do the same for ever more now. Heinz Garrick stuff is often reasonable on eBay and my second hand trousers and two jackets are both really good.

Thank you all, I am really chuffed. I think heat tolerant paint was the wrong way to go but not to worry. First time doing this I did not protect the paint enough from the brake fluid. Tomorrow I need to learn how to bleed I wonder if I need anything for that that I don’t have. On a video I half watched earlier there was a tube In use.
