5 notices of impending prosecution in the post

Update, I forgot to sign one of the forms acknowledging that I was the driver. This has delayed one of the prosecutions. One of the NIPs led to being offered a speed awareness course. This means that there are three plus the delayed one which the solicitors will advise me on. -
I think that I and both my kids would swap for you any day!

The new one is absolutely brilliant and what prompted to to revisit Star Trek from my childhood. I’ve never gotten with the Kirk series but liked the films. -

I watched those two today! Good episodes! I have really enjoyed TNG, I thought I might go for DS9 after. Although I never gave voyager a chance or the one with quantum leap dude in. -

I’m rewatching Star Trek The Next Generation and enjoying it. Suits and White Collar are reasonably good formula shoes, same for Scorpian. -
If I could afford new I would consider the energica or the Zero. Be fine for my commuting. I’d love electric for commute and the my zzr for fun.

I made an uninformed choice, in part based on believing I could get finance for the Lexmoto and would not be able to source borrowing of an amount as small at 2k. Also I did no research. I just thought new bike equals good bike. I enjoyed it, the only thing it did me wrong was lose 75% of it’s value in 16 months.

Thanks all, I keep gravitating towards checking to see how much Kwaka GT1000 are going for and bmw K1300s are, What other shaft bikes should I look out for?

I’m sure it has been done but I am curious. What are the pros and cons of the above? I love my bike but one day it will die and I occasionally have a look through eBay and I have been curious about shaft drive for a bit.

I didn’t think the law about CE certification applied to what I wear (except maybe helmet) but rather what can be sold as protective gear? Is there not a difference between the laws that talk about what can be sold and what cannot, and what can worn or not. I was under the impression there is no law about what I choose to wear other than helmets. Have I been getting this wrong?

I would not wear fingerless gloves. That said I though that the only legally mandated equipment was a helmet ⛑?

3 days ago I was sat there and none of it was going well, I thought it must be a Thursday. I never could get the hang of Thursdays. -
I found the nc750s boring and I had only just passed my test when I had it for a few thousand miles. I love the look of the tiger and the Africa twin.

Suzuk looks good but that Kwaka looks ace! If and when I can afford multiple bikes I am getting a zxr400, I wanted that bike when I was a kid and still want one!

The other point is relationship with the biking community. Took my Lexmoto to a local biker garage and was treated like a muppet, same garage 18months later with a big none Chinese bike I get treated like one of the gang even thought I stuffed up on trying repairs myself.

I’ve said this more fully before. I had a Lexmoto 125. I loved it, it looked great, a couple of finishing bothers like the oil filler cap made of butter but a good bike. Head race bearing went at five thousand miles but otherwise great. I’d still have it if I could afford two bikes. By three years old it would have needed a new exhaust system and I lost 1500 because there is no second hand market. I loved it but could not recommend it.
