  2. Have fun guys, wont be able to make it this year
  3. wow nice!> what's the place of the mountains? where there is a road that gets concrete support? Glad you enjoyed it though!, once I get enough monies, love to do it!.
  4. better still, support you local shops and tell them the Online price and let them match it, or throw in some freebies... If we all use shops just as a fitting service and then go away and buy online, the shops will all close down, then we'll be stuffed!! Also, Shops can often do a better deal than online prices because they dont have to factor in postage costs, packaging and the potential of returned goods. If you can buy from a local shop, please do so else we will lose them Yep i got mine from my local shop, and cheaper than online, All my stuff is from my local shops we have lots of em aha
  5. I'd go to a local shop, if they sell lids, try lids and find one that you fount that has good reviews, and fits you well. Remember the size, model ect, then get it online. then you know it fits and you got a good price for it

    Rear Wheel

Hey mate, i had a same sorta problem. my bike kept rattling, thought it was the chain or new brake pads as they just got new from shop, went around my street in 1st gear and you can really hear it clunk, But after a whilte fount out it was the dryness of the chain from the recent heat, it was really dry and was clunking when going around the sprokets. Once lubbed and left over night it didnt make the noise any more simple problems can really be overlooked sometimes!
  7. I've been druullling on this babies since they came out and got featured on a magazine, really lovely and the extra finger protection you get is really great and protects them from breaking. Very good leather ect and tension for the grip (tighthness) so they are more comfortable, and are further longer to keep them on for when you do actualyl crash or something. Still havnt got a pear yet but will one day
  8. Which peice of the boot zip has given up?
  9. No point touring if you go 80mph you wont see anything, Guy on youtube went from asia back to the uk on a little scooter... I would do it, adds to the experience but just remember to actually take some bits for the bike as its being more ragged than normal
  10. Was still fine for going, coudnt find the right jacket. but brought brake lines, battery, torch and disc lock reminder thingy
  11. anyone know the proper postocde for it?
  12. Normally at the Shakedown they have a special agreement with the parking agencies.....so, unless you park somewhere really silly you'd be OK. They have large areas of parking cordoned off for bike parking and plenty of marshalls to point you to where you can park..... yeah that's it park outside chinmeys or chippy, should be where i am too... if i get a spot there!
  13. Are you heading down then? We're planning to meet up at the Traveller's Joy pub in Rayleigh 11:30-12:00 to meet Megawatt and Bonniebird's brother and then head down the "back" way....so feel free to hook up with us if you want...... I live there mate lol should see you guys down there, park carefully too, wardens are touchy!

    Honda CG125 Choke

Had a cg, 06, all the way up is choke on, middle is half, and bottom is none, i put it to full when starting the bike, then straight after goes to middle to warm up
  18. grats mate!, 50/50? AND good luck for the das, the training is quite fun ( was to me last year)
  19. Does posting same question in every bike forum (making new accounts) count?
  20. look at at the location in people profile Where's the people profile?
  21. Maybe a map of places to stay, so it's easier to plan a journey around everyones houses to rest : p just general area, not exact postcode info I would say me too, but i think only brentwood nuclear bunker is near me, and thats it for south east but if your popping through you are welcome to come here : ) (going down to kent)
  22. Switzerland is no different to any other Alpine Region mate. The downside is the Police do not like motorists full stop. 80kph (50mph) limit on normal roads and very expensive on the spot fines. I know a German who got clocked at 120 kph (75mph) just trying to get back with his group and he got 600 euro on the spot, instant ban and the promise of a further 600 euro fine in the post which if it wasn't paid, the advice was not to return. I've seen them do multi stops on bikes and a defective tyre attracted 500 euro on the spot. They don't discriminate against bikers and everyone is fair game. A Ferrari driver is still appealing his 16000 euro fine. They appear to means test when applying fines. Full years Vignette required for their motorways. Fantastic roads and spectacular high passes but be aware of the consequences of getting carried away. Don't worry if you haven't got the cash on you. They very kindly give you a lift to a Cash Point. Ah ak thanks for heads up, just trying to think of different places than same old france and belgium Maybe France -> Italy -> Austria -> Germany -> France then home
  23. Yeah same here, i will be doing one in a 600, want to do italy though, i think you can do switzerland if it doesnt snow? but just seeing if people want to go around that way :_
  24. Would heated grips work on 125s? or the battery die after 2 minutes?
  25. oh right i see, ok i thought they were doing away with the A2 category and simplifying it (i say simplifying - it seems more confusing to me now to be honest) the directgov and DSA websites have all been re-done and now finding the information on learning to ride is harder and more difficult to understand i find. (which is ironic since they state on the websites that its all been changed so that it is easier for viewers to find the information they want!) yes i was on about a kawi ninja 250 (in green! ) which they have produced for the last few years will do the CBT and then think about what i am going to do because as pointed out might not be a bad idea to take a test on a 600cc as then have full licence and can ride anything i like. I just don't know how i would lift/support/balance on a big bike like that and also storing one would be a problem as garage space is limited as it is! It's not the 250, its new launch for next year http://www.kawasaki.co.uk/Ninja300
