  1. I used to go by manufacturer spec of 36/36 but never felt right. I saw daves video about setting up for you based on weight etc and he did mention for road riding. I added 2 psi to the rear until it felt better. at 40psi it feels great so didnt try 42. Ive not messed with the front but when I did my front shocks I felt every bump until i got settings right, and 34 was ok then. i dont go higher than 36 front.
  2. I had a sausage and egg and it was very generous. Coffee was nice just pricey
  3. If you fancy a bit more of a ride head over to seaways at fridaythorpe then you can either head to the the coast or loop back round Malton way for good ride seaways do an awesome butty too
  4. lol, I doubt it. breath of fresh air she is, most previous were totally nutty. never laughed so much in my life. And alot of that was trying to be frisky in a tent
  5. sexy as fook mate
  6. I have to say the goldfren so far do a good job. Stopping is better than my old pads anyway, and quieter. Although I did strip the callipers first and put new seals in..
  7. Well, we had a great time. kit was fine and if anything better seats lol but was all good. And on the Saturday in Scarborough, I asked the Mrs to marry me and the dafty said yes lol.

    Oil drain bolt

looks ok to me too, id be making sure the washer is a good fit mostly
  9. I like too. but also like to ride silent.. well you know. New helmet comms don't play music well though so will no doubt use earphones for music when out alone.
  10. I got it on PB too and don't care if it's wrong. I pay enough for Netflix and Amazon and buy Blu-rays of films I like, I just don't have apple tv so if it's bad so what. And the program so far isn't bad, but it's not selling electric to me at all. despite the fact they look ok and sound kinda cool in a futuristic way.. Can't beat real bikes though. Charlie isn't as dramatic in this either.
  11. I got some Alpine star s-max 5 but went a size up from 9 to 10. these fit ok and dont even seem that big on my feet.
  12. You're not going for a full emergency stop without testing your brakes are you?? never, and practice often.
  13. these are AD for multi use.
  14. ah right, explains why most hate them if used for road only.. these are described as ceramic carbon but no idea if that's different. But its the brand that gets slagged off
  15. Hey all I went and bought some goldfren pads, did see good reviews on the product section of eBay. Then when looking in general saw lots of bad reviews. But no-one saying WHY they are crap.. The initial description sounded good and they cost around the same as other pads. cheers
  16. ah that makes sense, was just reading to test when connected to the battery lol baffles me really. thanks
  17. Slightly off-topic ish, but instead of a new thread, how much output should a trickle charger kick out? I've put the multimeter on it and the reading was like 0.04v set. the setting was 2v. almost nothing coming out. But im curious if it doesnt work that way the charger is on and lights say battery ok etc. the mrs bike not mine..
  18. Hi all, I've been trying to get some nice boots that fit. since moving to leather trousers my boots won't fasten over them and are basic anyway, so bought some SIDI off ebay half a size bigger too. But, these seem very narrow on the foot. No way can i zip them even halfway. So are there boots that are better for wider feet etc or are most race-style boots really tight and narrow. they were only off eBay so not spent the earth. Il sell em on.
  19. I go by how shit I am at doing stuff lol. looks good. I was wanting something for mine but exhaust goes right under the bike. Im sure there is a way but im done messing with it for now... he says. good luck
  20. Looks like alot of fun and plenty of profanities.
  21. yeah, i have been on that bend loads but it could be the line im taking and the road changes and the bike adjusts. But its typical we first blame the bike, well I do. got to get mojo back
  22. went out last night for a little while. the odd thing, the bend I felt it tip more, did exact same thing same place, so its the bend or road. was ok on other bends but I know I was off as it felt heavy to steer right, but it will have been me being tense. came home happier and you guys helped a lot cheers
  23. baffles me how blind people are approaching lights. glad your ok.
  24. No idea mate
  25. it seems hard to avoid these vehicles these days, the slip I thought I had other week was on almost new tarmac and dry, but I guess you never know if a little something was on it. My first off last year was diesel on a roundabout, was fresh back to biking so didn't even see it lol but it high sided me, and that's where my right-hand turn frights come from. But after I did shocks other month I had improved with confidence. It was only the ride out a few weeks ago that the bike felt like it was slipping that set me back again. But new pressures for a ride out later.
