    Justice?

Sorry but its your fault ! You should have turned your house into a mosque ...... Simples
  2. Listen to Their rendition of The great gig in the sky and it will bring tears to your eyes ">
  3. Nearly put that but.... 'Careful' definitely beats it with regard to the actual musical composition rather than the length of the title. You could debate the 'virtues' of every track ever produced by Floyd but, in the end, they are all great. Nicely put Dont't know why but my all time fave has to be Echoes though. The Music of Pink floyd is modern day classical a la Strauss or prokofiev but because it is classed as Rock music it does not have the same Cudos Which is why When you hear the music performed by a group such as Australian or brit floyd you realise that decent musicians can recreate a pretty acceptable performance of the original composers, where Who knows if the royal philharmonic captures Mozart the way the composer intended ? It is great to have been around and to have heard the original sound live and have the ability to listen to some of the amazingly talented people that recreate the Music of Pink Floyd and keep it alive in my opinion Have a listen to Echos by Brit Floyd and you will see what I mean ">
  4. Or can be used in various varients I.e More conventonal Photographic company logo

  7. I have designed the Odd Logo but would not use Cad for such a purpose. What is the Logo for ? Have you considered starting a competition on TMBF ? Get as many entrys as you can then choose the one you prefer and offer a prize ? I would be up for that good idea....how does a 12 month subscription to a bike mag sound as a prize Or Penthouse

  9. Interesting because being" in the Job" so to speak, I know about most of these incidents and out of the 5 fatal bike crashes in my area since 1999.... 1 was on a stolen motorbike and 2 were racing and driving like complete knobs so I count that as 2 innocently killed while riding a motorbike. Infact more cyclists and pedestrians were killed so its less likely to happen on a motorbike Makes me feel a whole lot safer thanks

    A letter.....

Perhaps it was Christmas ELVES that took your things, knowing how worn they were and maby they got disturbed before they got a chance to replace the worn items with shiney new ones ? If not then lets hope the thief is wearing your helmet when he comes off the bike he no doubt also stole, and the Worn strap comes into play
  11. The good thing about a really good Tribute band is they can play in quiet small and intimate theatres unlike if The real Pink Floyd went on tour ! Final Cut is the only album I have never listened to .... Funny because it is for the very reason you mention, Roger Waters and his self pity thing
  12. Have a listen to Brit Floyd on UTUBE they are pretty Awsome I also went to see Australian Pink Floyd and also I have seen Think Floyd 7 times !! It is all about the music and Anyone who can play such complexed music well is ok in my book
  13. Really Excited when I found Brit Floyd are playing at a venue near me Never heard of them but then went on Utube and WOW they are Stunningly good, Infact the Royal Albert hall is on their tour list ! Born out of The Australian Pink Floyd after a Split in two and according to most reports the real talent went the Brit way Anybody Into Pink FLoyd should consider giving them a look ..... even though its not till the end of may I am already Excited Has anybody seen them yet ? They recently played the O2 london to 20,000 and were playing at the F1 gp silverstone 2011
  14. I can not strike but if I could I would not. My view is if you do not like your job /pay/ conditions then move on and give it to someone else who will be glad of it
  15. Sorry to disapoint you but what you ate has never been near a chicken ...... Pot noodles are made with Soya I even have my doubts if any Actual mushrooms were involved either What you actually ate was a flour, oil and plant based powder with hot water added and a tasty salt sauce claiming to be SOY No it will not kill you but you would have been better off eating a Hob Nob In my opinion
  16. Dont get twitter or facebook ( inless you are famous or somebody who's views are worth hearing ) If I need INFO I just use google,Utube or Forums and thats raw information not endless and pointless gossip and meaningless opinion BTW I have no friends which is another reason I do not subscribe
  17. Reading all this thread makes me think .............. Divide and conquer =Tory government now pitting public sector against private sector and it had worked we now have yet another divide amongst the working people ..... Seems the Government are a lot smarter than us plebs after all
  18. Thanks I called national accident people and they recon the company failed in their duty of care to me and were reckless. I realise I should not have helped the driver but he should also not allowed me to handle the item without proper health and safety considerations (as opposed to "helping me to unload it" ) Got to go get a medical report tomorrow. Not so much bothered about compensation but sure would like the delivery company to accept what they did is wrong and I just hope I can get back on my new Bike soon
  19. That sums up how I feel actually " I should not have been put in that position" cheers
  20. I could kick myself now but I would fall over Yeah even the lorry driver was moaning about it being on his truck and in future I will not touch it until its unloaded but As I had taken the day off to be in for the delivery, it never occured to me to let it go back on the lorry to be honest
  21. I kind of agree with you on reflection but then if they had sent the lorry they should have( and was payed for) none of this would have happend which is what has P'ed me off I guess Lesson learned for next time ..... Do not sign for it until it is on the pavement !!!!
  22. If only I could stand I think the company were mad to put that load on a van with no tail lift and only one operator but at the time I thought he must know what he is doing If I had not helped it would have stayed on the lorry so lesson here for anybody else taking delivery I guess
  23. No more bike riding for me for a while I had delivery of a woodburning stove today and a well known company dropped it off in a van with no tail lift and not even a sack truck, so it was down to me and the moaning driver to bring a 94KG stove from 3 feet high on the back of a lorry to the ground. The drivers heart was not in it and must have let go a foot from the tarmac and The stove swung me around and twisted my leg so the knee is now all swollen and the crate took out my other ankle. I rang the stove company who said they paid for a tail lift truck and this is not the first time ! Not one for the sueing culture but should I have to expect that taking delivery would end in me being injured because the company decided using one driver and a cheaper truck would save them money ? So should I sue the well known (begins with T and ends with T ) company cos I may well now be off work and my Bike for some time .....
  24. Logistics wise I am not sure but always happy to help you any way I can
