best of luck.

finally got my new date, 27th. seems a long way off at the moment, although my instructor is still hoping for a cancellation.
going to have a few hours on the bike the day before.
-
oh fantastic news, well done.
-
congrats, good luck for mod2
-
oh well done.
-
nope, still waiting for my instructor to get his backside into gear. apparently i'm on the list for cancellations as it was cancelled due to bad weather.
-
oh well done. chuffed for you.
-
yup, mine was canceled for today.
-
well, mother nature beat us again. mod 1 cancelled due to high winds and driving rain . possibility i may get to do it tomorrow, but i need to wait until the test center can verify who was due to take it. two slots booked, but no names in them, so one might be given to me. fingers crossed.
-
wow, this is amazing, keep up the fantastic work.
-
well, i did two hours on the test circuit yesterday, my speed riding is 100% 53kmp for both emergency stop and swerve, no problems at all. but my slow riding is a problem as i have problems with the throttle/clutch control. i always feel the bike either wants to tip over or stall.
anyway, went back to the training center for more practice and hey presto i got it. just need to remember to breath while i'm on my test lmao.
my instructor says there may be a mod 2 slot on Friday if all goes well today.
-
I just need to stop myself doing stupid things which I am apt to do under test conditions and pray for no wind or rain!
i know what you mean about the stupid things. got mine in a few hours and it is blowing gale force.
i wish you all the best for the mod 1
-
off to do a few hours round the test circuit. it's absolutely pissing down and gale force winds, so if i can manage today then tomorrow should be fine.
will be either all smiles tomorrow or you may not hear from me for a while. can't type while drowning sorrows.lmao

well done matey.
-
thanks guys. i feel a bit better now, thinking of my new bike after i pass mod 2,lmao. been practicing on 125, but not the same, i actually think it is harder than on the 500. what are your thoughts.
-
gulp. went out for my first two hour lesson on a 500 yesterday, did the usual circuit training, cones, u turns and so on and 30 mins road riding. loved it, so much easier than on the 125. got back home and instructor rang to say i could do mod 1 on Monday if i was ok with it. he feels i'm ready. now i'm bricking it,lmao.
great thing is i'm spending Sunday morning at the test center going through as many run as as i can in 2 hours.

good luck with your mod1

found a place near me who seems very good. DAS is £25 per hour. the first 2 hours are spent doing cross over (from 125 to 500 as i have never been on a 500 before). then i spend 2 hours practicing the mod 1 on the actual test site before doing my test. reckons he has a very high pass rate now he is using the official test site.
then for mod 2, about 10 hours, may be a few less, may be a few more.
does this sound ok to you guys.
-
Congrats
fingers crossed for mod1
-
thanks guys, i will ask about this weekend and let you know.
