I will be getting out on the bike tomorrow, maybe for a few hours, maybe all day. Could do with clearing the cobwebs from my head. Shooting on Sunday

collected a new rad cap, then perhaps a ride up to the bikeshed for a snack

Washed and ACF50'd the thing, run it up to high temps to get the smoke part out the way. Found the rad cap is leaking slightly, so quick trip over to the local dealers to order another.

Sadly too many snowflakes who don't understand that crime deserves punishment!

Who is telling her not to repaint it? Other flat owners or the landlord? Only one will have that right, and you know which it is.

Took a little ride into the city for a very over priced haircut and shave.

Any chance dealers doing discounts on actual bikes as I'm in the market for one
There's not a lot of bikes moving at the moment, so there should be a decent chance. Autotrader for private might also be a good move, sadly there's more than a few having to sell to free up funds.

Not to mention all those shops that will be open on the big day itself just to keep those greedy managers in brussel sprouts
-
So just wondering if anyone will be bargain hunting when the sales start later in the week.

Got a chrimbo box of food goodies, not really a hamper but better than nowt. Just finished a long day in Manchester and now back home in London. No more until the 3rd Jan for this one

Might try starting it tomorrow just for the hell of it.

If you can get a day, drop it back to them, seeing as they are Kent based.

Took the bike to work yesterday, beat the cardpark known as the M25 in the morning. The coming out of work in the PM and the seat was frozen, still went for a little blast after work and ended up with a frozen throttle hand. I forgot my throttle heated grip had died! Knob!!!!!

Or just post the details and save people and yourself a load of time

My first solo ride, was collecting the bike from the stealers and getting onto the A2 (70mph 3 lane road), all whilst trying not to either over rev a new engine or keep the revs in a certain zone for too long or having too much load on it.

Tracer 700, nice torquey engine, plenty enough grunt to get along a motorway, but my main reason for picking the tracer was for commuting. It gives me the ability to see over cars, nice upright riding position.
Yes there are some issues, but that's mostly down to the bike being built to a budget. Things I'd improve would be the suspension as they use the weakest fork oil outside of water (5W), which for anyone over 10st isn't heavy enough. The front brakes provide enough stopping power, even when enjoying those country lanes. I'm still to service the front forks.
It's not long ago completed a tour of Spain, riding through France to get there. Some of the roads around the Picos really suited the bike
Do I love it... It's ok for a first bike. More than enough power for the various roads you'll go on, but if I were to be completing regular long tours, I'd want something with cruise for certain.

who'd have thought a case of hemorrhoids could take so long....
In all seriousness I hope that things are on the mend for you.
I second what you have said. 6 years ago I had the pleasure of having treatment for a secondary cancer. Other than the hard nosed consultant I was under, who only really needed to work on her bedside manor, everyone was fantastic. Even when I was at my lowest during my treatment they treated me with compashion, dignity and respect. I know there are many issues with the NHS, mostly down to providing services that it was never designed to provide.
