  2. i found it was best to just stop instead of substitute for something else that then needs kicking as t hey can become a habit and it seems can be harmful if used long term
  3. im glad to say when i quit i was smoking 20 or more a day and one night still with an almost full packet i said to myself thats it ive quit and stopped threw the rest of the packet away and not touched one since

  7. i was riding bikes before my kids came along and never stopped riding the oldest one is now 33 and youngest is 24,thats not to say t heir mum wanted me on the bike once kids were here but i always said to her i had the bikes before the kids and her and will still have them no matter what and its true we spilt many years ago now but i still got the bikes so im happy

  11. many times i have used block of wood and a soft mallet to work the casings open and if you look around them on some of the older 2 strokes they actually had indents in the crankcases which were pry points

  13. the abs light could be as easy fix or major it might just be the abs ring broken on front hub or the sensor gone or something far more hassle dont know if i would bother with it or not to be honest

  15. if the valves sound quiet it might be worth just going with carb balancing,im assuming all the plugs are also new

  21. Sounds like you did it without doing that. Also use a breaker bar rather than the the socket driver. You will be able to get more leverage that way and you will need it. Front sprockets are put on at a high torque setting. that setting is called FT..................in other words f***ing tight

  24. as above start with the basics like tyre condition and pressure chain condition and tension adjust and lube,oil level,as you dont say what bike it is then if water cooled check coolant level as well
