  1. is your bike a single carb then on the v-twin engine if so then it seems strange that it runs on one cylinder and not the other if im thinking correctly about the other troubles you had
  2. places like maplins will stock it no ideas it the bigger chain stores will stock it
  3. might need t o pull the plugs out and clean them up or replace them as well
  4. make sure the reg/rect is mounted firmly against metal and use some heatsink cream on the rear of it that helps it dissipate the heat from it
  5. do you mean naturally aspirated in other words no turbo ...........non aspirated is erm......................nonthing
  6. so if there is a rumbling and the big ends are not knocking then it could be water pump bearings or alternator bearing gone dry from being parked up but crank seal would either not leak or would leak as they are only a standard seal like a fork seal is but im like stu confused that almost but not quite..............................seems a common problem
  7. or sell it and buy a green lexmoto
  8. im not sure but i thought now that you can tax a car/bike online once it passed you were meant to tax it even for the ride home.............but im not sure mine spends more time sorn than anything else

  12. then check valve clearances and cam chain tension
  13. i might even make it there one evening if i ever get the bike out of the shed this year lol
  14. is it actually knocking yet it if isnt then if it is the big ends worn you might getaway with getting the crank polished rather than reground and just fit a new set of shells and the crank oil seal isnt expensive either and would need doing at the same time you do the crank anyway
  15. some cars are easier than others some have 2 bearings in you can just dress out others have a bearing that needs a hydraulic press to remove and replace and others you just change the whole hub
  16. might of knocked the seal out of shape and allowing a bit of oil to leak out but as mr fro said check the fork leg condition to make sure its not damaged and then fit new seals on both forks
  17. dont know the bike but if it is a 2 stroke it could be a small end bearing rattle if it has a roller bearing fitted,if its 4 stroke i assume you have checked the oil is correctly topped up
  18. if its only whining then it should go for a while if it is a front one it will often sound worse as you corner one way and go quiet the other way if its not grinding you should be ok
  19. just explain to ebay what has happened and you will not get charged as the sale has not gone through and they cannot take money for something that didnt happen apart from listing fees which if you talk to them nicely they might waive due to the nature of what happened but it would beworth speaking to them on the phone rather than by email and make sure you have buyers id ready for them
  20. and thats the problem with classified ads on ebay you cant leave them bad feedback
  21. does the standard loom have them fitted if not then they are not needed so as you have wiring diagram you can make your own loom to the lengths you need including anything that it says is included in the original loom, ive built chops in the past and made looms up as needed following wiring diagram and making everything to the length i need depending on where things were placed
  22. its less than 3000 miles a year so its not to bad to be fair i would say average but not high
