  2. you wouldnt need to replace t he whole lot so yes you can buy the first ones you listed as long as you can change them yourself or get someone who knows what they are doing to change them
  3. if its 12v battery and you say you was only getting a reading of 3 volts and then 4 with engine running i would start checking alternator and reg/rectifier
  4. they will come under general 8mm exhaust stud
  5. i would drop the points cover off and see if you can remove a backing plate to se into the camshaft and check that the lobe hasnt worn away
  6. new bettery is the first thing in my mind with those readings,i have no idea if it a 6 or 12 volt system on it but whichever the readings are far to low
  7. could well be just the dust getting hot and burning off the engine and exhaust if the oil levels are fine
  8. turn it anti clockwise i think it is 1/4 turn on that one then it should lift off
  9. there will be traces of oil up the dipstick tube and that will rub off onto dipstick just take dipstick out wipe it clean insert it then pull it out again(waits for the comments) the oil level will be where the most oil is collected at base of dipstick between the lines hopefully
  10. make sure the twist grip is located properly in the switch gear also has the handlebar got any tape or glue on it that could be making it stick and are you sure the cables are moving freely when taken right out
  11. have you got the screws that hold housing shut done up evenly so if any gap round the switch gear it is even
  12. make sure you lubricate round the throttle cable area on the carbs themselves as well nat as it can get all stuck up round there as well
  13. are you sure you havent run it out of 2 stroke oil as well?
  14. well it doesnt have gear box but it has extra oil box and from there a cable foes to engine and that cable cuted apart with a small filter.. I order a manual hopefully will be in here in 2 days.. if i have got this right then yes it will have an oil box that leads down to the engine that could well be where the 2 stroke oil goes for the engine
  15. being a 2 stroke it wont have an oil filter and the only oil in the engine will be the 2 stroke as it mixes with the petrol,not sure on scooters if there is a gearbox with oil in or if it is just the case with the rollers and belt in which has to stay dry
  16. moving the pistons back into he caliper wont push air into the system so its pointless trying to bleed out what isnt there.
  17. will be this time next year we get the pictures at the rate this weather is going then
  18. also check the earth as moving it slightly could be a sign of a bad earth check under the seat if there is one or 2 wires coming from the indicator if only one then it uses the frame mounting as an earth
  19. only help i can give you is try http://www.partfinderukltd.com you tell them what you need then they mail shot lots of breakers who are signed up with them and if any of them have th bit they ring you with the price for it
  20. i would check the wire heading up to the ign switch or the switch itself
  21. if the rear brake is cable operated it can be adjusted at the wheel where the cable passes through the brake arm the front will be disc so will need the brake pad condition checking as they could be worn out
  22. a cg125 wasnt designed to go much faster than 55 flat out but the hole in the filter wont help
  23. does the screw go through the back of the bit that the lever bolts into if so it will be to adjust the amount of movement the lever has
