  4. joker! If they are flowers or floral graphics personally I would steer clear. Just to clear this is in no way intended to start a debate Stu

Stu ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Just seeing if people are up for a ride out on the 15th May. We will meet at the Ace Cafe then head off to Amersham, Berki area for a ride. Stop over in a pub for a bite to eat then off dfor more riding or home. 8. Congrats...best feeling ever! Stu
  9. What he said. Pooped clutch means biting point is near the top not the bottom. Could be badly adjusted. Could be a knackered syncro? Stu
  10. Spoke to the mechanic today. He was really good about it (with obvious reason!) and without me asking said he will check over the bike and replace any damaged parts including the hugger free of charge. I think/hope that is the only issue. As long as the bike is all good and sorted I am happy. I had a lucky escape to be honest. Taking the bike in on Saturday so hopefully that will be the end of it. Stu
  11. Have to make the most of the good weather...who knows how much of it we will get this year!!!
  12. Will do mate. The rear hugger is worth a couple of hundred. Stu
  13. Next time though... Nice pics. Stu
  14. No worries at all. I just missed you lot when you came back :0( I'll be calling him to see what he says! Look forward to the pics and will hopefully see you at the next ride out. Stu
  15. Yeah looked today. The RAC guy has over tightened it now though lol! Apparently it is suppose to move 1 inch up and down from the middle of the chain and it currently moved half that. I need to buy a spanner and adjust it. The guy was recommended by as lad on the kwak form. I will be calling him on Tuesday and see what he has to say. Stu
  16. Home now, carbon fibre rear hugger is a bit knackered Going to call the guy who did the service and see what he has to say. Hope you all had a good ride and i will defo be on the next one. Stu
  17. Right, i took my 2006 c1 for a service and MOT on Thursday and assumed all was well. Had a decent ride on Thurday as well. Took the bike out today and as i was shifting about to join the A40 the chain popped off! Called out the RAC and was told the bolt that holds the wheel back to keep the chain tight and keep the wheel ligned up properly was not tightened properly so the chaine became slack and popped off. The RAC guy re-fitted the chain and i took it for a ride and all seems well apart from the fact that my carbon fibre rear hugger is pretty banged up! Not pleased about that. If anything the chain is now probably a little too tight. I am goign to call the guy to have him look over the bike again to make sure all is well and the chain is the right tension. The mechanic was recommended by a forum member and seemed like a top bloke. Mistakes can happen but i now have a fookeed rear hugger and need him to look at my bike again! What would you do? Stu
  18. On the slip road to the a40... Chain has come off! Calling breakdown people now. Stu
  19. I Was initially told it would be a 6 week wait but the school I was with call centres every day to take cancelations slots. As a result I waited 2 weeks but cod have been one week. I was also told as soon as April kicks in it gets mental! I started in jan when no one wants to be riding so there were fewer people learning. The competition for slots will be a LOT higher now :0( Stu
  20. Great pics
  21. Moved their car... See you all tomorrow :0) Stu
  22. As John Mcenroe said " you cannot be serious ". I'M going out now, text me if you want a hand getting your bike out in the morning. I know...fuming!!! Dude if the guy does not come back it aint coming out!!! I am getting access to the 'contacts' page but if i dont turn up by 10:30 you can assume i won't be making it. Stu
  23. Could have an issue as my bike is blocked in Have put a note on the persons windscreen as they are not a resident...fingers crossed. Stu
  24. well done for passing. Bring on mod 2!!! I found this nerve racking but a bit easier as you are just riding on the roads as you would drive your car. Good luck. Stu
