    Can't go into hot tub until it's healed?  Is that because taking a bubble bath in a primordial cocktail of bacteria is frowned upon 😁

    The “ Petri Dish of Filth “ as hot tubs are known in our house.

    I can vaguely remember the days my back could cope with drop handlebars. Not these days however.

    To be honest i never ride on the drops. I average around 5000 miles a year, mostly 30 - 40 mile rides, half a dozen-ish 200km timed events and we do either JOGLE or LEJOG each year in 2 separate 7 day periods... and i’m still overweight !!

    Next big ride is Hornsea to Sheffield on the 6-7th or 13-14th May ...weather dependant as its an overnight ride with a bivi. 103 miles.

  7. People are being killed that would have been fine if there had been a hard shoulder available. Bad decisions, stupid decisions about where to stop on a SM should not be a death sentence ...

    I live between junction 31 and 32 of the M1 and daily travel from Junction 1 M18 to junction 29 M1 ... I see cars abandoned in the first second and third lanes weekly ... people stranded ON the concrete crash barriers .... parents and children huddling between the armco around bridges...

    Corporate manslaughter awaits Highways England !

  8. Took the bike to work today, longest route, removed the fittings for the top box, took a young friend of the family out for a thrash around the country roads for an an hour after he had finished school, lubed the chain, ordered a chinkie for the tribe, opened can of low alcohol beer (5%) ... Watched Frank of Ireland ..

  9. So ... your all in favour of this ;

    “ According to the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA), the average learner driver needs 47 lessons and 22 hours of private practice before they pass their test. "

    Thats cars ... if you believe there's a delta between them please let us all know ...
