  1. Good idea batman, will nip into the rocket centre Sunday
  2. A mates mate is selling a pair worn once size 10 Sidi Black Rain Evo Boots, reviews are pretty good only concern i have is the width of the foot and the calf area. Does anyone have a pair that can confirm the foot width is decent and there is enough room for large calf's? We don't see eye to eye so trying them on is a no no as he would probably add £999 onto the price if he knew i wanted them lol Cheers BB
  3. I would stay away from them ones as they are non branded. I have bought two pairs of leathers from Ebay both were 2nd hand and 1 set was 1" too big the other 1" too small! - but both saved me at least £500 on the original prices and neither had scrapes marks cuts grazes etc etc Just ask as many questions as you can and get as many photo's as you can to back it up incase you need to return them BB
  4. I'm not sure if it will ever stop raining enough to get some colour photo's out! I have managed to fit a few extras on such as a rear hugger a new rear reg plate and a tank protector. Hopefully this weekend i can throw on the wheel tape and that will be that till Christmas then i can give her a proper clean, dirty like tart!
  5. How have you guy's got on with the training? Weather being as it is now, I'm looking at getting it done over the next few months. DocB, any chance you did yours at http://www.valleybikeschool.co.uk/ ? BB
  6. The wife just bought me some K7's in Black - apparently black is slimming cheeky cow! Cheers for the links peeps BB
  7. Which hood ones look good? The pics on there website make them look like really cheap jeans from Asda or the £ market. The H2 appear to look ok but the blue denim K7 look hmmm, cannot imagine how bulky they look with the Knox armour in! http://www.hoodjeans.co.uk/html/armour.html BB
  8. 5 mins? Takes me that long to get my thermals on I'm just googling Voto cannot locate a dealer anywhere in the UK nor on Ebay, where is Frankie when you need him! BB
  9. So the hood gear is recommended? ~I'm about to buy some from them, just looking at the styles.. BB
  10. I know annoying.. I wear when going out on a non hot summer day; x2 thermals top/bottom x1 thermal zipped neck x1 thermal socks leathers boots x1 neck tube Then the helmet goes on then the inner gloves then the outer gloves Painful but warm BB
  11. Well i ended up using the car since it was raining (again)..... I'm on the hunt for some easy slip on clothing, kevlar jeans maybe or just some textile pants as i have a textile jacket already.. I wish it was as simple as throwing on some clothes putting the lid on and some gloves and setting off, takes me a good 20 - 30 mins to actually turn the bloody engine on... BB
  12. This is going to sound pretty stupid but..... I always wear my leather two piece every time i go out on the roads as i never just nip somewhere. Tomorrow i need to get my eyes tested and its a 15 minute round trip including an eye test etc and i won't have time to go enjoy the roads.... It's going to be slightly uncomfortable sitting in full leathers, boots etc but i don't have textiles or Kevlar jeans and in all honesty I can't afford to go spend £??? on some.. What do you wear if you are just nipping somewhere? BB
  13. "> They are back, congrats!!! Now to organise some rideout's before the snow gets here!! BB
  14. http://www.respro.com/products/racing/o ... oggy_mask/ Or similar location, i just googled the make and came up with this website.. I got one of these and had to glue it into the helmet as the velcro was the wrong way around! It works like a charm and i wear glasses, no more fog. Downside is it does restrict your breathing - when you are at a standstill i.e. lights or getting ready, but not enough to turn your lips blue! BB
  15. I just made an offer for the led on Ebay from the rocket centre, they accepted £4.50 + p&p (£6) - you have got to love the rocket centre, they accept crazy offers BB
  16. Tov, toda. Tzeth'a Leshalom VeShuvh'a Leshalom!! BB
  17. Me thinks instead of worrying about saving £5 i might as well buy the proper gear and just connect the cables together..... BB
  18. I bought some thermal running gear and the problem i found is your core gets cold because your not generating enough heat to keep the material working as it should do. I've not found an answer yet but last week i wore 3 base layers leathers and a hoodie, i made sure my neck was securely wrapped to make sure no wind got down my neck area, it worked quiet well in all fairness.. Heated grips, still the best thing i have bough this side of 2009' fantastic kit. If you find anything workable let us know BB
  19. After fitting my tail tidy i went to place the led light from the datatool into place and the bulb just snapped away, rust etc Doing a quick shop search i found this http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... 0502315601 But I'm thinking i don't need to spend £10 on a bulb when any led bulb (with some cable) can be connected to the existing cable? Silly question i know but an led light is an led light no? Cheers BB
  20. What a beautiful day!! Unfortunately or fortunately depending which way you look at it I'm taking my son to the pleasure beach then the lights. Enjoy it n wrap up warm! BB
  21. Same as weather depending and since its the first Sunday off in 3 weeks and the wife 'lets me play' then i may call over BB
  22. Nice one indeed!!! Don't rush into buying winters coming so are the good deals so test ride test ride test ride! BB
  23. And that's just your summer gear if i remember
  24. Shame its a zip up frontal, will let the wind in..
  25. The other week when we attempted to ride to North Wales I wore a pair of thermal base layer top/bottom a thermal next skin layer had my leathers on and a pretty thick hoodie over the top with no zips, two neck tubes and the wind still cut through to the chest. Luckily my nuts are protected by the amount of heat coming up from the engine so no worries there but the feet legs chest was cold. I really don't think there is a full on way of protecting everything in this weather. BB
