Well I survived 3.5 hours of it, despite it being gale force winds - it was awful! It was so bad I coud hardly get above 35-40mph riding to the lessons, and during the training I was nearly knocked sideways by some of the gusts - typically just as I was doing the slalom and figures of eight around the cones . Apart from knocking a cone once when I was doing the swerve - this due to not being able to find third gear and losing concentration - the instructor said if I rode like that on Wed I will pass. We had to get up to speed from standstill - it was quite hard given the space we had, so hopefully it will be easier on the test as you are already moving. I managed mostly 49/50kph which is a pass (got 53kph but clipped the cone!). My worst thing is the u-turn, mainly because I tend to use the front brake and need to practise using the back brake for control, a bit wobbly but I can practise that at home. I just need to stop myself doing stupid things which I am apt to do under test conditions and pray for no wind or rain!
