still working on mums kitchen

morning folks ......... day off from mums kitchen today so I thought I might go out, maybe a bit of shopping (get a bottle or 2 in for myself) or just for a walk for some exercise...But no!!!!! Son phones, he's put an order in on ebay and delivery is today ....... but his address on ebay is still my house cos the pratt hasn't changed it!!!!!!!

nope ........ I tried lol. cabinets down one wall all need 30mm cutting off the back, and all the base cabinets are only 60mm off the floor ......... adjusting the legs is a first class pain ...... infact the back legs have been replaced by a length of wood. hey ho, itll look good when I've finished ...... and I should never have to do hers again

no expert lol .......... just a DIYer. I've done around 7 kitchens now, but they are all flat pack and usually straight forward. Mums is proving difficult cos she wants to keep the worksurfaces, just replace the cupboards.............. and new cupboards are not as deep as old ones ...... and slightly higher so legs have to be shorter, a lot shorter !!!!!

mum is lol ........... I have flooring (laminate) ready for my bedroom that I keep ignoring cos i need to gloss the skirting first lol I HATE gloss lol

Tests aren't going ahead yet ......... but they are only cancelling 1 - 2 weeks prior to the test so if you've got one booked you won't know its cancelled till pretty close to the date.

My mums kitchen I'm coming to hate working on kitchens ............ working on my sons last week and my mums this week ........ mums is going to take another few days yet though cos she's an awkward bugger lol...... still it keeps me out of mischief I suppose. What about you

if you google search ldc (learner driving centre) I believe there is a free theory and hazard perception test available on there. I think there is also an option to buy access to others on there ....... if there is that option they'll be the current ones used with learner drivers ....... (I did say drivers not riders but I don't think theres much difference) A lot of the theory questions are common sense and you'll know .......but learn the stopping distances, 20 mph is 2x20 feet (40), 30 mph is 2.5 x 30 feet (75), 40 mph is 3x40 feet (120) ....... hopefully you can see the pattern. For the hazard perception it's when you would have to react to what you're seeing, ........ and don't click in a pattern ...... try single click, followed by a double click. Hope that helps

She's on at £3500. I've owned her for the last 5 years (took delivery April / 16). She was serviced last January and has only done around 200 miles since. Was MOT'd in October 20 where she passed with flying colours (she'd only done around 400 miles between so that was no surprised). Anything else you want to know about her just ask .......

well I was till the fazer wouldn't start , some power was there but not enough to fire up .......... optimate plugged in and the kwak has been moved ........ do i really want to sell her????? huge grin factor lol

shifting bikes over to mums barn whilst I have the garage roof sorted ........ and at the same time taking pics of the kwak to put it up for sale ......... I say that now but once I've ridden it the long way to mums I might decide I'm keeping it again lol
