  1. No probs tinkerbell, hope to meet up Sunday for the ride out. I do tend to run my watch a bit fast, I`m one of these that hates being late. You meeting at mine ????
  2. Leather, so good for the coming summer.
  3. Great deal at Webbs in Peterborough I noticed while waiting for some friends the other day. Frank Thomas jackets and trousers virtually half price at £75 each. Be good for someone wanting some gear for summer. All brand new, just last years stock I guess. PS Vicki said OK to post
  4. Anyone near abouts to hunstanton want to meet up there, as opposed to doing the whole ride ?????????
  5. Yep, that was a good day out last year. May join you on the run up Roy.
  6. Lot of peeps on here swear by Textile in winter, leather in summer. The vented leather stuff is pretty good and better for abrasion protection.
  7. Well I went to Webbs and only waited till about 5 past 2 as it looked like it was going to rain and I thought perhaps you had called it off. Glad you had some bike time togetehr though. Rain aint that bad if your geared up for it. Be good to see you Sunday, I can smell them chips and curry sauce, mmmmmmm
  8. bout 10.45 am Roy. That will give gubba a chance to get from sawtry. ANYONE ELSE UP FOR IT ??????????? Tigger my post code is PE28 4TQ and the car park is next to a row of shops, I`ll be waiting outside so you should see me. See photo.
  9. Thought I might have the time off but looking out of my window right now, its foggy as hell, drizzle and looking on BBC forecast, rain this afternoon. Possibly not today guys. If I`m not there by 2.00pm go without me.
  10. Possibility if my boos does not think it`s too short notice to have the afternoon off.
  11. Sounds good derick, be good to see both of you along for the ride.
  12. Bit far for you to come up to Hunstanton then MK. I`ll keep my eyes on the London ride out thread.
  13. Just read through the thread. looks like it will only be Ade38 and his mate and MK. Must admit I`d like to get to Sunny Hunny as I`m looking forward to some chips with lashings of curry sauce. Heavy showers forecast for Saturday, so fingers crossed Sunday will be better.
  14. whos doing the ace run then Roy, have I missed a thread????? Come summer Jive you`ll have to have a word with your boss and arrange for sundays off
  15. me too, looks like i`ts going to get colder.

  17. Anyone fancy a ride up to Sunny Hunny next sunday. Not to sure what weathers doing but would like to get a run up there for fish and chips.
  18. What was there Roy. ??? I was out on the bike but went home when it started raining.
  19. Same as Akey, Knox contour. It`s great and pretty comfortable.
  20. Yep, good to meet you Derick, and yes it was a good ride out. Hope to possibly go to Hunstanton next weekend
  21. Just saw that article myselfe. The jacket does not look as bulky as the one in the first clip and it would seem more of the jacket inflates. Looks pretty good to me, but I bet it will be very pricy, but then what price do you put on a life.
  22. Yep, don`t give a shite what they look like, I do have a set. Must admit I do not use them as much as I thought I would, because they are a little restrictive, especially getting your hand back on the bar after wiping your visor. They do however work and on long journeys and in weather like we have been having I would not hesitate to use them.
  23. Try something like a Bandit, Fazer or Hornet. They are not sports or cruisers and you`ll have a lot of fun on them.
  24. OK jive, may see ya, may not then.
  25. OK Roy. snow more or less all gone now, apart from where it was brushed up into piles. As I say I`ll be at Taz around 10ish and onwards. May do a breckie bap, mmmmmmmmmm
