Right, having learnt I`ve kept my job, I am now on leave from 15th to 19th Sept. I`m looking to take a ride out up North or accross the midlands with a stop over in a B + B. Thinking of taking in Alton Towers, possibly Blackpool. Anyone care to join me for a couple of hours/days or just meet up, let me know and we can start to arrange times and places. I fully intend to stick quite a few miles on the bike, preferably non-motorway (too bloody boring) so I`m open to suggestions as to where to go. My Uncle lives in Scunthorpe so that too is a possibility. Can`t wait.

Sounds good to me. Anyone down my way want to ride up to C & F. We could form a convoy.

I`ve had RST since riding and done around 36k in the suits. Zips are a bit dodgy, I`ve had to replace the waist one on my two piece. If your going for one piece, RST are a good value suit and at around £199 plus your £50 petrol, £16 to get in makes it £266

Bummer mate, presumably you`ll need a new tyre. Marina was not too full last night, mind you I had to leave pretty promptly due to the fact I`ve been having bad guts lately and needed to get home PDQ

Hey David, normally get there about 6.45ish to about 8.30pm depending on black clouds or temperature. We normally sit outside so this is a big factor. Coming to the end of the season soon due to darker colder nights so try and get over while you can. Cheers Neil

Too true, distance should not be a factor but I`m doing boat rescue on the saturday at Rutland water. Apparently as a member you have to.....it reduces the price you pay for membership.

Same here Vicki, great idea and I`d want to do this myself, but Hull a long way North for a day. Good luck with it.

Now I`m all for safety, but I would imagine these chest protectors are a bit restrictive. Anyone use or tried one. Was speaking to a guy at the weekend who swears by them. Not to sure myselfe

Just a quick Ta to Roy for Friday night. Just sitting there about 6.45pm when Roy rings and says three of us will be over yours for a ride out. Bit later, Roy, Pete and I`m sorry we never got introduced, but another guy comes obver and off we go for about 2 hours. Totally enjoyed it. Ta Roy.

I`ve got exactly the same one steve, but like a complete twohat, I brought it after I brought my leathers, so just a tad restrictive. Lesson to all, if your going to buy new leathers, wear all your gear before you try on.
