  1. Looks like I`m billy no mates and will be going on me own
  2. Just found these pics of some wierd and wonderful looking roads. Would be nice to give them a go on the old bike.
  3. My old RST`s trousers are two and a bit years old now and are like a second skin. As akey says, treat them with auto glym or some other leather conditioner.
  4. Harry, they basically stop the cold wind from getting to the exposed part of you neck, between the top of your jacket and the underside of your helmet. They`re no fasion accesory I can assure you. They certainly help me keep warmer on a cold day.
  5. Oh yes, me and lady godiva (feck the spellin) we got sent to Coventry though
  6. I tried once but the claws kept diggin in me neck ......oh buff
  7. Anyone fancy joining me on a little ride out to Hunstanton on Sunday 12th, October. I`d like to get one more trip in before the bad weather. Join me outside mine, in the car park at around 10.30ish if you`re interested. Post code for car park for you to google is PE28 4TQ. Be good to see some of you from the North West of me.

I`ll copy this into East Anglian ride outs as well.
  9. Cheers mate, and thanks for the advice......NOT
  10. OK GOG, I think they know by now, I`m a sad 44 year old domino player who should have a whippit, flat cap and a smoke a pipe. For those that do know me please feel free to commet differently.
  11. If your planning on riding all year round, make sure they are waterproof. Nothing worse than getting into work with wet feet and having to put wet boots on at the end of the day to ride home in. Believe me, I know.
  12. Arai RX-7 Corsair helmet Richa two piece leathers (in summer) RST Cruiz two piece in winter Sidi boots, for summer soon to be TCX Infinity for winter. RST SRT 6-7 gloves and loads of under layers when the frost bites. Brrrrrrrrr Brrrrrrrrr.
  13. Don`t do that boot, I`ll take your word for it. I`ve got mine on order, I hope to get the shop price down to the e-bay price of £159.99 as opposed to £189.99 rrp. I presume you wear your trousers inside the boot, so why are they uncomfortable around the top????
  14. Going to go with these. Ride mag has just done a testing on them and they came out at the top. TCX Infinity Anyone had any experience with them ??
  15. Went over to Webbs and there was only a very few set off so I did not bother tagging on. Get ya bike quick Red and let us know if you want to go for a ride out. Was thinking of Hunstanton next weekend.
  16. OK, Red, I may still go if a few other people from here join me. Let me know before about 3.30pm and we can sort out meeting points and times. Cheers Neil
  17. May give it a miss, but I`m still up for a ride out if anyone wants to join me. Possibly Hunstanton or wherever. Might even take a ride over that way around 10ish to see how many involved. Last BIG ride out I went on we used the second rider to wait at the junction method. Trouble was I did not know when the last man went past and sat there for god knows how long, I eventually lost the rest of the pack so not too good a day out.
  18. whoooho, go for it buddy, enjoy your evening. Don`t forget to go to the barbers first.
  19. Good on ya Dave. I think I`ll skip the getting sponsors bit as I have to get them for the pudsey run. I`ll just pay the £15 entrance fee and have done with it.
  20. I totally agree with you. I was using them as an example of what can be found on e-bay. They look like they have a pretty long sleve bit (for want of a better phrase) You could try google "motorcycle gauntlets" and see what comes up. Good luck with your search.
  21. Try out e-bay. These look pretty useful http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Leather-Gauntlet- ... 286.c0.m14
  22. Yes, Ian queueing was not too bad when I went, max. wait about 10 mins. That Air was superb, and Rita Queen of Speed was something else.
  23. Well I went last Tuesday. Great run up from my neck ot the woods, and totally enjoyed the park. Bit pricey though. Thought I might stay up that way so I took a tank bag, rucksack and other bits so they charged me for two lockers, so total was £30 in petrol, £35 entrance fee, £6 storage = £71 and I only went on 5 rides. All the big thrill ones ofr course. We must do this trip next year some time.
  24. Ta susie would be good to have a support group when we get down to the Ace, and would aqlso act as a good time and place to put faces to a few other names.
