leather also can be worn much more tightly fitting than textile, therefore keeping your armour exactly where you need it, and because the leather fits more closely its less likely to move around and cause skin abrasion itself...much more likely in textiles ( just my humble opinion)
plus it looks better and smells great
-
road bike only days, or novice only , may allow full zip together textiles, but most others will want either zip together ( full zip not part) or one piece leathers

yay, good luck mate , I'm sure you'll be fine

cant wait to go throw the babyblade round a few bends on track.just need to have a think about when and where( and whether theres anything in the budget lol)
-
and just a suggestion, but if rr sportsbikes are the only ones interesting you, why not get a cbr400rr , restrict it for the 2 years ( you'll probably even pick up a restricted one, ive seen quite a few for sale) .
you'll get your money back on one of those all day long and learn to ride a sportsbike in advance of jumping on the 600
-
get yourself out there learning to ride ( you don't learn to ride for the test, you learn to pass the test...the real learning comes afterward when you're out there on your own bike gaining experience)
can I ask what it is about the rr that makes it the one bike you're wanting ?

definitely want to get back on track this year, but not a chance id book one as early as feb ...brrrrrr
-
We also have those , but haven't had a chance to try them out on the bikes yet, they do work fine in the house though ( but you feel a bit silly wandering round indoors in a full face helmet

'is training important'....in a word.....yes.
would you suggest anyone takes their car test without lessons???
same goes for bike...you may or may not be able to pass without the lessons, but on the whole theres a reason why training schools exist

my biggest advice would be....wrap up warm and make sure you have enough layers on , but are still comfortable.
anything which distracts you ( such as being cold/uncomfortable ) is a bad way to start out.
good luck...relax( or at least try to) and enjoy

my guess would be something to do with the charging circuit....reg rec/ battery/generator
but don't take too much notice of me , im a girl lol

ok,to clarify a bit now ive been over for a look, theres no fuel left in the tank, what didn't end up on the floor is now mixed in with the oil., to the point of overflowing.
stuck carb float is being suggested as the culprit...though im not sure if there may also be a problem with the fuel tap...its in the on position, but wont turn at all.
suggestions/remedies please

you presume correctly
