personally, if costs an issue, get cbt, and a 125... learn the skills, then do mod 1 and 2 on the 125 before the changes.

as for cheap gear, its all well and good but i have learnt over the years to save up and get better more expensive stuff, you pay for the technology they use to test and improve.

But the Furygan jacket I spent £130 on is the one that has the shoddy foam inserts - the leather jacket is second hand from a bike convention for £30 and it's proper armoured up. I don't get it really! But will keep in mind about the stitching and everything in the future. I'm just on a 125cc atm that won't go past 65mph unfortunately...full licence by the end of the year I hope!

get yourself off to a bike show, they often have trade stands selling well below the normal retail price, and you can try stuff on as much as you like.i have a couple of brand new pairs of leather trousers to sell, but as theyre a 6 they wouldnt be much use im afraid

i'd like to come on a rideout after not managing to bring the bike last year... hope theres one i can join without feeling inadequate lol
