  1. anyone got an idea what time the sat pm rideout will finish, as i have to organise picking up a mate for the saturday night and dont want to have him drive up from london several hours too early lol
  2. stick to the middle of the lane, taking up the same space a car would, otherwise theres a chance for cars to pull up along side which is less safe for you.
  3. cant copy and paste cos my buttons arent working, can someone add me, littlecat...thundercat 600cc oh and what time would we be likely to get back to the pub, as i might have to arrange to pop home and pick up a mate who might be coming for the saturday night Edited by mojo Akey - XT1200Z Super Tenere Willow - CBR 600 Fsport Ash - CBR600RR Sue - YBR125 Decor58 - Fazer 600 =] Ruth - SV650 (poss) Nman1 - GSXR 750 Stu - TL1000s revscasa - Fazer600 or Gixer thou megawatt - Fireblade RRW Streetfighter mojobanana - ZX12R Ninja Dan - Fireplace Spafe-gsx1400 Yorbandit - Bandit 1250GT Takanta - ???? 4. wow, well done you, i can only imagine how sore you feel , ive just got back from a 440 mile weekend rideout, and i can barely walk .
  5. good luck, dont worry about the rain, just take it steady
  6. lol, when full, mines twice that height. practise lifting your leg over the bike through the gap in front of the tail pack, rather than trying to lift it over the top, much easier
  7. why does the tailpack get in the way? i chose a tailpack as i cant use a tankbag due to my size, and didnt fancy having panniers hanging off the sides.
  8. yay, well done you, now get out there and enjoy...ride safe
  9. id love to come on the ride, but not 100% sure yet if i have to pop home nd pick up a friend of mine for the saturday night. i will be on my thundercat, but happy to ride in a slower group as my cornering isnt the fastet yet either( though i do like a little spurt of speed on the nice straight bits lol), having said that im off to wales this weekend for a big group rideout over 400 miles so maybe i will improve some lol.
  10. definitely use theirs, and then your covered to go fetch yourself one to practise on afterwards. only cost me an extra tenner for their bike, well worth it
  11. i have a good pair of winter gloves that i cannot wear at all, they killl me, but got a super pair of armoured buffalo ones at a bike show reduced , and theyre fab,, shame theyre only summer gloves, as im gonna have a problem again finding winter ones i can wear
  12. i will happen , if you want it.. get out there and do it again,, better .
  13. i want to come, wheres the most recent copy of the list so i can add myself ??
  14. bad luck last time, sometimes i think its harder when youve been driving for years, i know i certainly had to relearn how to pass a test, and thats what your aiming to do. dobtless you will ride differently after the test , i do already, but the aim is to get that cert in your hand lol....best of luck this time
  15. i spent about £480 and had 9 hours tuition and both tests in that , but i had been riding for a while , had done the cbt beforehand , and had previous experience on smaller bikes
