  1. Oh yeeeeeeaaaaaaahhhhhhh.....
  2. Give us a clue!! What did it get?!!
  3. Looked like a fun "Spirited" ride mate.. Which DVR do you have? Is it the DV500? Also what voltage does the camera run on? I know the DVR is 5 volts, but not sure about the cameras.
  4. The innocence of youth...
  5. Fantastic mate!! Ok... If I have the DVR, and a camera, can I plug a seperate mic in? Also does the camera require it's own power lead, or can it work off the power of the DVR? What I want to do is have a seperate microphone. Power is not a problem, but I am just not sure if I need to have power to the DVR, mic and camera, or if it all runs off the DVR.... Cheers mate.
  6. Could you show me the end of the camera lead as well mate?
  7. Dan... Could you do me a favour mate. Take some photos of your MP4 recorder... Namely where the camera and mic can be plugged in. Thanks
  8. A shame, and I feel sorry for the fella but..... If they said they will only do the swerve test perfect condition and someone passed, went out on the road and had to do a swerve in the rain and crashed then they would be slated for that. Instructors should have made the pupils aware of the changes that rain brings about and taught them how to control the bike in this situation.
  9. Well if you can get to the pudding run then that will tell you. You will go past MFN (just about) to get to Willow and Akeys.... It's the run back from MFN late at night that could catch you out. Especially if you don't have much experience riding in the dark...
  10. Most TV's left on standby use about 80% of the power as when they are turned on.... I will be costing you a lot!! When I don't have my heating on my leccy bill does not even average £50 a month. When I am not there the only things left on are the water tank (It's actually economically better to leave it on as all it does is click on for a while to keep the temp up rather than heating a whole tank from cold), and of course the fridge freezer. Really think about it mate, and you would be amazed what can be switched off. Video player, DVD player, Sky Box, Broadband router, Microwave, Oven, mobile phone charger, even a 4 way gang lead which has a little light in it.... Switching them off at the power could save you literally hundreds a year.
  11. PD.. It's a Pub with 3 big car parks. MLC.. It's here http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?f=q&sourc ... 17981&z=11 Right click on the marker, choose directions to here, then put in your postcode in where indicated on the left (The A slot), then click "Get Directions"
  12. Might be mate... Gonna see what's happening. I am certainly out on the bike tonight, but feel more like riding than standing around!!
  13. My leccy company take the pee... I pay by direct debit and every september when they send me a balance I always ring them up to claim back the £500 too much they have charged me over the last year. Conversation is always the same.. Them: You have to have a buffer as you use more electric over winter. Me: I know, but you charge me so much that even over winter I use less than I am paying for so the buffer is always there. Them: Well we would rather not give you the money back Me: It's illegal for you to withhold money from a customer. Them: Is their anything we can do so you won't claim the money back. Me: reduce my direct debit. Them: We are not willing to do that. Me: Give me my money back then. Them: Yes sir, the money will be back in your account in 10 working days. Me: Well that was a waste of a conversation. Speak to you this time next year. To be honest I don't mind it as it's a £500 lump sum all at once!!!
  14. No worries mate. I went to get one and my bike garage talked me out of it... As I am not a day to day rider he reckoned good maintenance (Regular cleaning and lubing) would work fine. He was right.... Last time I had to adjust my chain was about July last year and that was because I took the back wheel off to get a new tyre fitted... Check it on a weekly basis and it's always perfect. If you commute on it though or ride 6 out of 7 days then get one.
  15. Did I? Looks like TC said it to me!!!
  16. Cheers mate, but will say no for now. Maybe another time though!!
  17. Happy to come and watch mate if I can get the day off work!!
  18. Just bumping this for anyone else who might be free that day!! Will be there if the weather is good (I ain't riding 90 miles in the wet to sit in the wet then ride home 90 more miles in the wet). Will bring my Dad's camera along as well which ain't too bad!!
  19. Hmmm... Suspect they are meant to fit over the boot's but you are obviously struggling with it. Would recommend removing the shin pads and trying that. In theory if you have good length boots that should work for you. See what others say though mate, I could be wrong.
  20. Sounds brilliant mate!!! Might have to get mine sorted soon... Gonna move this thread to the Bike training section for people to find mate!!
  21. No mate, but they are on the list of stuff I want to purchase. Heard nothing but good things about them though!!
  22. Alpinestar 365 Goretex http://www.demon-tweeks.co.uk/products/ ... 352108-L10
  23. Fantastic!! As said, amazing photo!!
  24. Annoyingly Chris you are right.... Wanted one right from the start, but far too many other things to buy... Will have one soon though!!
  25. Might come down for one day. Meant to be at BMF as well this weekend, but that's only 1 day.. Weather permitting of course!!
