if wanting to travel light , go for a dome tentwith porch if u expect to hav to deal with wet weather, look for a porch area with built in groundsheet i hav a 2man dome tent,, useful for quick overnights or weekends, when dryish,( cos in the wet the porch area can get muddy) also a 3 man tunnel, a vango icarus 300, which i use for any weather, can stand up inside, built in raised groundsheet, bees knees, but is 8kg more weight to carry go for a high hydrostatic head, at lest 3000, test out in your local "go outdoors"
