Picked this up last night. Im not a star wars fan, ive seen a few movies many moons ago but i am an avid MMO fan. Have only played a few hours so far. Combat so far has been fun and it just feels a bit more real when you thwack a mob wit your lightsaborzz. Abilitys so far seem an exact clone from wow's. Graphics are lovely but i was stumped for a few hours after launching i was getting a terrible FPS. Turns out its a glitch with the ingame graphic drivers. So to remedy put all your settings on high, select ok. Then go back in and select what ever your system can handle - this fixed it straight away. Also had problems with the game launching in the wrong resolution - Had to find my clientconfig settings in the SWOTR directory. Changed to appropriate resolution and switched to window'd mode. resolved. Stil having problems with using Teamspeak in-game. I have to tab out to talk..... ummm.... Cinematics, Surprisingly good fun cosidering i usually skips these. I guess because when playing with friends you get to see there choices, so you can get a few lols from that. Ill post more as i progresss over the Holidays. Im playing on the bad side ( Republic* i think! ) on the Ul Vii server ( again i think! ) My name is Greensredbull Also on a side note, Asda and Tesco still think this game isnt released till Midnight tonight 22/12/11 Check in with game or gamestation as it seems all the digital download versions from Origin (distributer) have been sold out lololololol Also im sure Knights of the old republic was an older Star Wars game....the MMO is referd to as just The Old Republic

haha not so true. If everyone knows what they are doing and plays there role well raids are not to bad. Try soloing ICC now thats a challenge but again as i said earlier thats what this game lacks, its all about cookie cut specs and groups. Thats what was good about Final Fantasys Notorius Monster farmin - Basicly open world bosses that dropped shit hot loot at low levels and some of the drops would last right up till end game. The only problem was the Japs were crazy about hunting these so it was hard to find an uncamped NM. Anyway you can start a Star Wars thread and let us know how you get on. Ive not really seen any gameplay footage or read any teasers....tbh star wars was never really my thing so i couldnt imagine ide get to hooked on it. If you havnt played Rift yet you might get some kicks out of that but for me it ultimatly fell in the same places that wow has....not surprising for a clone

Ah thats a nice thought and thanks for the offer but ive already tied in with some old mates on the Scullcrusher server And no, you cant sway me with promises of the best gear in the game! lol Im more content with a decent challenge as oppose to decent gear anyway

Ive started again...again. Now playing as TEH HORDE! on the skull crusher server. Got a lvl 81 Blood DK as my main and working on a warrior and hunter as alts. Hopefully ill be ready to start some raids come the christmas holidays!

I dont agree with this. When i can see my local commute route has had of over 6 deaths not to mention injurys in the last decade it gives me a very differant sense of perspective and a little more food for thought when traveling said route.Especially when the majority include heavy goods vehicles and motorbikes! I said personally and personally I would rather go out not already had the fear of god put in me by a whole over 6 ( is that 7 or a million deaths) over a decade. We dont need food for thought we know were vulnerable, we understand the pitfalls but if you go out with this attitude then how can you relax, you dont know what or how these accidents occoured just that they did. This info is imo useless, accidents happen, people get hurt doing everything from the mundane to the bizzare. So on that we shall just agree to disagree.. Yeh yeh i know what you mean.... at the end of the day it comes down to chance. Sometimes were so busy looking out for the mad dash boy racer that we dont see the grand piano fall from the sky.
