  1. a tragic lose and a tragic accident, normal the bike would have slid to the left but it looks like the tyres dug in and it span round back towards edwards and rossi, really feel for edwards and rossi and wouldnt be suprised if they both quit racing for good, RIP sideshow bob, gone but not to be forgotten
  2. not trying to put a downer on this, and yes i do know many people who have had their eyes done with no problems, but the mother in law has just had hers done ( by a very well know company) and they have totally messed it up, they reckon they can sort it out but its gonna take time and a lot more surgery, i was gonna have mine done, not now though, contacts and glasses for me, and yes i know there is always a small failure rate for everything
  3. i grew up in a small town with three camps outside the town, all local bussinesses where broken in to, house break ins, cars going missing and all off them driving around in untaxed and unmoted cars, all thieving scum and should be burnt out
  4. id say either, your gonna have fun at either track, just take your time and slowly build up your lines and pace, enjoy
  5. Black fairing, with metallic red frame, swingarm, hangers and stuff Powercoating is a no no, £150 plus VAT for frame, swingarm and wheels. Not too bad but i guess i could DIY. personally i think that £150 for frame swingarm and wheels is a good price, even if you do it yourself with cleaner and rattle cans, yes it will be cheaper, but not much and the rattle paint will scratch and mark easy

    Chickens

Are they going to be pets or food?? Piggies are fantastic, I've got two (pets) - I've taught them to sit for food . But be prepared for rooting, they can turn over land at an alarming rate . They don't lay eggs though food

    Chickens

13 chickens + 1 cockeral + 4 weekish old chicks, want to get back up to around 25 chickens, we sell the eggs (large) at 6 for a pound, and currently sell around 36 a week, people are always asking for them, the smaller eggs we keep and eat ourselves, im looking into getting two pigs sometime next year, once ive finished building my new workshop, as for the red mites, yes we are always fighting them, the chickens are dusted down at least once a week and the coup ( a modded 6x4 shed) is coated in powder once a week
  9. i hang me head in shame, i buy a cheap car (dont care what it is) for the winter months, But i do still ride in the winter if there is no snow or ice
  10. my fronts brakes are very poor, standard fitment on my bike are 6 pot tokyos, there are known to seize pistons, have to pick up some red rubber grease tonight and then im going to rebuilt the front calipers, also bought a seal kit for the master cylinder so will be doing that at the same time

    Engine mounts...

sorry disagree fully, ive spent years having to repair and reweld smashed alumininum forming tooling on papercup machines and sweet wrapping machines, never had a broken weld ever, for their size these components have to handle far more stress than a bike engine bolted into a frame, ive also welded cast engine casings on both cars and bikes and never had a failure, welding any casting with a tig set is an art that not everyone can pull off though Surely if you can pull it off..............it's not very strong

    Engine mounts...

when welding cast, yes for sure the weld will be stronger, with cast materials its all about getting the material up to temperature before you weld it, keeping it clean, taking into account the shrinkage rate and allowing it to cool slowly at a controlled rate. You weld cast material cold and theres a good chance it will fail, any dirt, it will fail

  14. ive been stopped several times at or around our local bike meet, now i dont keep the disc on my bike, its pinned to a notice board in the kitchen at home (yes i know its wrong) ive had two discs stolen from my bikes over the years, this is why its kept at home, but everytime ive been stopped ive explained why its not on the bike and twice ive had the response of 'yes we know its taxed' as they checked it whilst following me, never had a problem, decent coppers or just luck? is the paper work and court time worth the little fine for not displaying?
