  1. No fault! I mean. looking at that, do you REALLY think either the rider or driver had watched the video? Bwahahaha.
  2. Always I've loved the look of a naked frame with a pretty engine sitting in it - even though some classic bikes have that look I love, I realize I probably couldn't live with one
  3. Might come to this if I can slip away in time
  4. yellow in anything (I like black too)
  5. I think people that ride without helmets and skin-covering gear are nuts!
  6. This is a great idea I think, even for a smaller group of TBMFers. Sometime in September for a weekend could work great for me and my better half as our anniversary is the 21st. "Honey, how about a romantic weekend away in France...?" "By the by, I may require a new motorcycle to facilitate our journey, dearest."
  7. I'd go for the Kwaker or see what else comes along (to me) close to 2k for the Honda seems a bit too expensive compared to what you could get newer for a similar price... E.g.: BAM http://search.autotrader.co.uk/es-uk/ww ... x_mileage=
  8. Sounds good - hopefully work will have settled down for me a bit by then and I can have some fun!
  9. As above, definitely advise arranging your test on a training school bike. Is there some reason why you want to stick with a 125cc other than that is a next step up from your moped? Getting some practice on a 125 for a while could a good thing before moving up to a bigger bike. The answer whether to go straight for a bigger bike depends partly on how you feel (your confidence) and how much time/training you want to do, but also on how you plan to use the bike. 125ccs *can* be used to ride any distance but they aren't very comfy and stable at all at speed for longer journeys. You can definitely use your time in training to see how you feel riding around on either a 125cc or a bigger bike before you commit to your test. I live in Manchester too and I highly recommend MSM (manchester school of motorcycling). I took training over a period of about 5 months at three different places in Manchester (due to issues in my own schedule mainly) and found MSM to be a head above the rest in terms of being professional. Did you do your cbt in Manchester? Good luck!
  10. Thanks! There is a fair to midland chance I'll be there with wife and brood
  11. France is a great idea - I'm just excited about the chance to do a longer trip tbh. Having a meet up and talk about particulars is probably best - I'll try to be there.
  12. Thanks - I'm a biologist! I'm mainly excited about the haggis and deep fried pizza! I've visited Scotland a few times - near Glasgow and an island off the coast of Largs. I didn't understand a damn thing people were saying.
  13. I'm Interviewing for a job in Stirling soon, I might be living closer to JOG by the date!
  14. This could actually work for me + the fam. Does anyone have a link to camping place nearby? *goes away to work on wife about it and google infos...*
  15. I barely evaded a nightmare of witchcraft and satanism rampant in that backwater part of the UK. Better now that I am home and have had a little lubrication...
  16. Just got home - great to meet everyone today On the way back home I took a misturn from the pack headed to Manchester and decided to make my way on my own via satnav (just got parapan's message). I was getting blown around a lot and wanted to slow down a bit!
  17. Hey TC I'll meet you and voodoo for the ride over. 10am-ish at McDs at the end of the M67... ? Must google map it.... Gonna try to get up early enough to screw on bugscreen...
  18. But but they are pimping their menu so hard on the website!
  19. Will check out the article too!
  20. I personally rather avoid motorways for the sake of enjoyment. Weight my opinion though as I may not be able to spare the time to make it all the way to land's end...
  21. Will prolly come along (never been to squires before), pending wife approval!
  22. Possibly, possibly... need to check with the boss of me... 8)
