Guest Posted September 16, 2009 Posted September 16, 2009 So after 30 years of pretty much an easy going attitude about most things, I decide to take up biking and meet my nemesis with Module 1. It is a rather simplistic set of exercises, and after 4 goes at it I'm pleased to say I can run the course without even wanting to put a foot down on any of the exercises and have u-turns that are smooth and easy. Emergency stop is bang on (no pun intended). This bloody swerve is just killing me though!! 2 measly little KPH short..2! However would like to say that imagining running over some small fuzzy animal helped get a lovely swerve through the cones..and helped with the anger at knowing I had gone too slow So...once more into the breach unto the breach again my friends..next week Quote
bigsisterbiker Posted September 16, 2009 Posted September 16, 2009 i'm SO glad i passed before all this module stuff came in! don't envy you or anyone else having to jump through so many hoops to get your licence. if only it was so hard for some people to get a car licence! yes i know, off topic back on topic - bad luck with the swerve, hope you nail it next week. good luck, sure you'll be fine Quote

Or is that my imagination?Just nail the throttle next time and just come off it as soon as you hit that speed trap to shave a few kph off to make the actual swerve a little easier. Good luck for next week Quote
