I didnt make it in the end, the weather here was awful! Strong winds and heavy rain.

Did you all get there?

And?????

There was one bike there folks, yes one. It was I, Mr "I get my bike out as often as Vick changes her kex" SRAD :D

It was a little windy and a bit drizzely but it only started just after Scotch Corner and I had ridden that far so I wasnt going to beaten by some inclement weather. Keith made it with his mussis in the car and we had a great time.

Looking back.

No worries Angel.

I am goint to dine on this event for ages  . Mind you being blown all over the A66 at around 70ish can be a bit annoying but it was fun. :D

P.s You wait till Vick and Stu see this, they will think its all a hoax, thats why I took the piccys.

SRAD, Keef n missus keefy, sorry we didn't meet up thought us and Angel were the only truly certifiable ones on here. Tha A66 was pretty grim respect to Angel - unfamiliar bike, pillion, on roads she didn't know, she may be a newbie biker chick but she's got bigger balls than King Kong

If possible things were even worse coming back over Weardale to Alston then Brampton. I was soaked to the gnads by the time we got to Alston then went through a pool of water that was deeper than I thought so got water coming up me legs as well. Once the water had warmed up a bit I started enjoying things again. All Kenny had was a leaky glove I got all the weather, just wait till he's through his test though.

Spose what doesn't kill ya makes you stronger.

Drago you are truly wise beyond your years not coming out to play today :D

Just thought it could do with an airing Vick. It was sunny and warm when I set off all the way up to Scotch Corner. As soon as I got going down the A66 then it turned bad and as I had got that far I wasnt going back. it was purely an afterthought that I brought my waterproofs. I am up Kelso way next weekend with the Porsche lot so I wanted to get the bike out at least once a season :)

Is this autumn or still summer?
