Stuno1 Posted July 2, 2010 Share Posted July 2, 2010 Hi all,I am looking to do my CBT and DAS soon and as such looking to get all the gear.My question is....will i be laughed at (as in all that gear is too much and not needed) if i wear full leathers boots etc as apposed to just wearing jacket helmet and gloves with jeans and sturdy shoes?Sorry if it is a stupid question!Stuart Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

If they do laugh, grab the name and the instructor and we'll spread the word.Plus, if you come off. You'll really appreciate it. My mate spared no expense gearing up (nearly 2k)... I went with him on his first ride, he came off at 20-30 mph on a roundabout with me behind..His arm and bike were cut up.
