Hello everyone,

I have a bit of an issue with my stand, i don't trust it!!! i'm convinced my bike is gonna fall over when i park it. I'm sure my stand is smaller than on any other bikes.

I was wondering if anyone else ever felt the same.

Please feel free to tell me if its all in my head and me being silly!!! :D :D

Don't park with the bike facing downhill, as it is will easily roll off the stand. Good tip is to carry a bit of 25mm plywood, about 100mm square. If you park where there is a steep camber and you think the bike leaning too far, stick it under the stand. Also useful if the ground is a bit soft. Very hot tarmac gets soft on a hot summers day. :) :) :)

it'll be just in ur head... a new new shiny expensive bike....

ur just paranoid that it'll fall over cos of the above..

the stands will have been rogorously tested to make sure it can hold the bike up with plenty of stability..

always good to check the securing bolts every once in a while tho...

Go to the spares dept. of your nearest bikeshop, tell them you need an extra long stand.

See how long they keep you waiting

if the nuts holding the old one on are stiff aswell ask them if they will lend you a glass hammer to free off the nuts
