sparkeh9 Posted March 18, 2011 Author Posted March 18, 2011 Thanks for the reassurance . I only paid £23 for it, so I'm not expecting the earth Quote
Guest Posted March 18, 2011 Posted March 18, 2011 Well, you haven't bought crap anyway. Like Stu said, not the best, but not the worst by a long shot Quote
NearOn Posted March 18, 2011 Posted March 18, 2011 Sounds good, what torque range is it? I have a torque wrench which is 28 and above, think into the hundreds. But need one that is the lower ranges if anyone can recommend a cheap but decent one?Ta Quote
sparkeh9 Posted March 18, 2011 Author Posted March 18, 2011 The one I got is a Sealey AK624,Torque range is 20 - 150lb.ft 27.1 - 203.5Nm Quote
megawatt Posted March 18, 2011 Posted March 18, 2011 Don't forget to back it off to minimum setting after you have used it. When torquing down a big casting or cover , do it in stages, start in the middle or at opposite sides and work your way outwards and around. Quote
